Likes
- The campus is big enough as compared to some of the other famous Delhi University Colleges. It has all the necessary facilities and also has a lot of greenery.
- The sports complex is very huge and have all the basic sports. It is really a nice complex. I myself am not a sports person but it is wonderful for any sports oriented person.
- The societies are very active and genuinely develops a major part of your personality. With the right people by your side, you can ace all the competitions.
Dislikes
- The irregularity in the classes. Cancellation of classes is not informed a day or two prior, this leads to a lot of time wastage.
- Shivaji college doesnt have the best readings, there are lot many times errors in those. Some teachers themselves has often advised us to get our readings from any other college.
- The canteen's food sucks! The food is verry tasteless, oily and bad, definitely do not recommend it.
Remarks :
The eligibility of the course entails passing a national level entrance examination (CUET) followed by a rigorous process of counselling held in various colleges. The students are required to select the college and course as per their preferences and are offered the same based on their merit and ranking.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum we are presented with comprises of all the relevant and coming of age topics and portions. The syllabus ensures that we have all the application based concepts taught to us to ensure that we are ready for the cut throat competition world has to offer.
Internships Opportunities :
The college as well as the respective departments ensure that enough internship opportunities are provided to us. Internship fairs are organised to help students land internships according to their areas of interest and preferences. Organisations from various domains are invited to pick up students for internships at these fairs.

The fees and the scholarship details are the part of confidential information and we are instructed not to disclose the information on public forums. However, rest assured we are provided with state of the art education and learning in the given fees structure.
Campus Life :
I love my social life here. The club involvement is amazing. every department has a society that also gives the chance to the students to get more engaged within their course domain, still out of the box. The infrastructure here ensures that all the facilities are provided to the students while ensuring the hygiene and safety of the students at all times.
Faculty :
the faculty is very experienced and knowledgable. A good faculty-to-student ratio ensures an efficient and peaceful learning experience. The faculty understands and realises the importance of interactive learning and makes sure that the students have an enriching and insightful learning experience throughout the course period.

Placement it's all depends upon u how much u r doing hardwork. We know that not everyone get placements there will be some students who will get placements so count yourself in those students u will definitely get placements and try doing different activities during your college like internships etc . Definitely u will get placements

Course Curriculum Overview :
As my course is SOCIOLOGY HONOURS this course needs a lot of field work which is not properly conducted by the college and i think that should be changed but still because of the professors it becomes easy to make the most out of the disciplines that you are choosing.

Placement Experience :
The number of placements in our college is not as expected. The number of placement should be increased in our colleges and students should be given more opportunity to generate employment and to work with companies in form of internships.
North Campus - Things no one talks about.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is B.A. (Hons.) Economics. The curriculum seems pretty outdated to me. I don't think it's really relevant in today's day and age but yet the basics are the same. The theories are the same. I feel more focus should be on practical training. For example sometimes the professors give meaningless assignments which has not relevance. In place of that they can provide the assignment which will have some real world implications and make a person job ready. The exams for economics are pretty hard as compared to other courses. The average cgpa is also low as compared to most of the courses. Changes in curriculum can have postive changes in the moral of a student. While selecting the course it's not clear what can we expect from the course. I feel that a student should have full idea of what the course is all about while selecting a college course because it will be with you for you whole life. The university need to update their curriculum and the maine focus should be on practicals.
