SSM (Should you consider it or Should you not)

- Well to be honest we have good infrastructure.
- SSM has decent campus. Not that good but its okay.
- Since its an affiliate college so rules and regulations are up to mark.
Dislikes
- The management is not that good. I will not say its the worst but neither is it that good.
- Location of the collage. I mean come on its on too of a mountain tbh.
Remarks :
Well the college enrolls students through jk bopee but there are managment seats also. As far as bopee entrence in concerned you have to appear in the exam after which you will be having 3 rounds of counselling where you will be allotted with the collage. And for management admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
This decision of mine was totally random. I mean engineering was never the option for me but somehow i ended up there. In B.E there are lot of useless subjects in 1st year and i don't even know their uses apart from learning and passing the exam. The syllabus needs to be updated now its too outdated.
Internships Opportunities :
As i just joined third semester, so i don't know anything about internships right now. One thing i know is that ssm is tied up with someone for internships and all but i am not sure about it. Better to say nothing than lying.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee is quite affordable and about scholarship i don't know much. There might be for obc and other categories but as far as general is concerned i dont have much knowledge about that. But bus fee it a lil bit high.
Campus Life :
I have been there for almost a year but apart from frushers we didn't celebrate any kind of fests. Recently we had graduation day for batch 2019 but again no anual a fests are celebrated there as far as i know.
Faculty :
Well talking about faculty, now that i am in 3rd semester a single teacher teaches 3 subjects. Some teachers are rude some are more friendly well thats teachers personal way of teaching but at ssm you will find some teachers that are very considerate about there students academic progression. On the other hand side they don't have any faculty for some specific subject.

Jammu only engineering college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually coding teachers are good and if u want to learn they will help you but they will also help you to understand real world but I don't think it will be of great help.. In each ist comes mid sem exam for internals and then comes your projects etc and then session ending exams

Placement is good in my college. Average approx 4-5 lakh. Highest is 14-15 lakh is it to much in this category. Jammu students don't woory take admission and make future brighter And if you not selected in campus placement dont worry You start preparing for offcampus interviews. ... Keep updating about off campus drives. ... You can try for internship if you are interested. ... Besides aptitude update yourself for GDs and technical interviews.

There is about 35% students placed . around 230 job offers . everage package :- 17.6 LPA highest package :- 53LPA i qm thinking to go abroar for my higher studies. this year microsoft has offered internship in our college .. i am trying for the same .

If you are 7th or 8th semester then you can eligible for campus placements. For placement many company visited in IIT Jammu like Infosys,TCS, Paytm, Amazon , Samson. Highest package at IIT Jammu is 53 LPA , and average package at IIT Jammu is 17.6 LPA . Placement percentage is 85% students get placed. After getting degree i will get placed and doing my work.
