- So being a student of an off campus college i didn't had that many expectations.But i realised that campus is not that bad infact it is very beautiful and big too.
- I liked the auditorium and the ambience too it is so big and very modern and classy from inside. I also took some music classes that made my usual day very calm and composed.
- Also my college offers variety of options for sec vac ge , i always wanted to learn some instruments but being a commerce student i was unable but because of sec i had the opportunity to learn harmonium
Dislikes
- I didn't like the infrastructure of college.Like in new building it is very decent but in old building the infrastructure is not up to the mark
- I also felt that staff was not approachable sometimes, they have sometimes bad attitude towards us
- I will not say that all teachers are bad but few of them just teach because they have to like they don't care students are understanding or not
Remarks :
Eligibility i would say minimum you need to score above 600 in cuet because the competition is very tough in bcom honours if we compare it from others And if you are aiming for north campus college you need to score above 750 for sure otherwise forget it if you are from general category. I appeared in CUET 2023 and scored 620 without any coaching ,the score before normalisation was 680 . Yes my marks were less and that's why i got admission in Bharati College in 4 th round because firstly i didn't wrote it in my preference list But this time i think normalisation is not there so its good for you people,work hard so that you don't have to spend tons of money for doing the same course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So I joined BCom honours because I had keen interest in mathematics and accounts and yes I am enjoying studying BCom honours it has very interesting subjects like marketing financial management , company law ,accountancy I think it is very interesting and student having interest in the business world , BCom will definitely help. Delhi University should hire teachers not only on the basis of their qualification but also on the basis of their teaching skills . The exams were usually not very tough the core subjects were of moderate level but sec vac ge were on easier side
Placement Experience :
I think after third year students became eligible for campus placement, the average package i think is 3 lakh per annum and the highest offered is 6 lakh yes i know thats very less . But the percentage of students who get placement is 75 which is definitely not bad My plans , actually i am not only persuing bcom but also CA so my plans are simple.. like completing both my degree and then applying for jobs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship The scholarship criteria is only for those student having lower middle class backgrounds or have less annual income . They also offers some special scholarship to girls. Tution fee Delhi University is not that expensive and I would say that the tuition fee is very nominal like I somewhere paid around 16000 for my whole first year Campus employment I am in my second year so I am not aware about the campus recruitment but the internships options are available for us too . I participated in internships like lernx but was unable to complete due to my hectic schedule..
Campus Life :
So i think in my college the social life is pretty decent We had our freshers then dandiya nights and also every day there are some events going on from different departments. We also had our annual fest too Sports and extra curricular activities are also there and even to motivate sports students there are facilities of free sprouts for them
Faculty :
Let me tell you i didn't got admission in very first round but i got in the fourth round so i attended accounts lecture and teacher was amazing but later due to some reasons the teacher was changed and he was literally not that great and i would say like teaching was not his cup of tea The ratio is quite good like we have three sections for bcom and in one section we have 40 to 50 students and one faculty is really enough for our class In my second semester i would say the teachers were very helping and very nice and it was easy to approach them..

Placement Experience :
My college placement is good , in 5th semester it is compulsory to do internship of atleast 2 months in my course and after that the person got eligible for the placement after 6th semester. Our average placement is 5-6 lakhs and highest is 13-14 lakh per annum. My college has got NAAC ++ rank. More than 100 companies visited our college for campus placement and around 200-250 offers are made every year. Around 60% of students gets placed every year . My plans after getting the degree is to try to do MBA of M.Com from good college and then get a good college with good skills and knowledge.
