So for admission we have to gave entrance exam i.e. CUET UG... The one thing i didn't like about theexam was the normalization process, this process was totally unfair like i got 190/200 as ny raw marks and after normalization it was around 130/200 something. As a ur i would say the reservation seats are too high in the colleges. Theone who is not even worthy of that seats are there but the one who is not worthy is struggling like hell. So i think delhi university and its colleges needs to do something about reservation seats
I choose history because i just wanted to know about our past and because im really fascinated towards history. My college not only my college the whole delhi university needs to introduce new subjects related to archaeology as there is only history as a subject in this field. Being such a prestigious university i think new courses are needed to be introduced. Apart from that colleges should start focusing on research work for example taking students on a field trip monthly.
The tuition is really really affordable. For my course i paid only 16000 for my first year. But I would say the exam fee js pretty high . There are subjects where you have to pay more i think exam fee should be same and if not colleges should start introducing goods subject in minor courses
So there are lot of societies in my college but the one thing i don't like is the faculty. Students try so much to organize programs but teachera and principals either don't agree with them or even if they agree the program remain lowkey. I got admissioned in 2023 -24 batch , the one thing that I'm really upset about is there was no freshers party . Our seniors tried alot but principal didn't agree Apart from everything i would say campus life is lowkey but good too
In my college there are some teachers who teaches very well we can interact with them easily but there are many who won't even come to class until it's end of semester. The faculty to student ratio is very low
