Dislikes
- I am a bit annoyed with the parking arrangement in the college. There is a lot of traffic in the parking lot when students leave from college. And our hostel is located in the same area.
Remarks :
Only one mode is used for admission in Gujarat. Every student has to take an exam to get admission in college which is called GUJCET. In this exam, the student scored more marks and Students have to fill forms in various colleges. And according to the percentage of the student from the college he is given admission. Nirma College also has the same process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I took Computer Science course in Bachelor of Technology. And now the whole seems very beneficial and useful to me. Because 90% of the total is connecting to the world. Also in the coming time it will be easier with the help of ai.
Internships Opportunities :
I did a Software Testing Internship in Top Technology, a reputed company in Ahmedabad. In which I developed the skills of manual testing and automation testing. I learned a lot from this interstate. Also got industrial experience.
Placement Experience :
7th and 8th semester in our college means students get ready for placement. Visiting tours are conducted for the student to meet with some companies. Nirma College is a reputed college for placement in Gujarat and India also.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My admission free was 20000 at the time of my admission. Also my college fee is ?1,20,000 per year. As I am originally from Vadodara I thought of staying in a hostel. Hostel fee was 78,000. Also, six to seven thousand rupees were spent on equipment related to the whole year. There are some institutions that provide scholarships to the student to study. Also the Indian Government also provides scholarships to the students. A student who studies well is encouraged to move forward.
Campus Life :
Many festivals and events are organized in Nirma College. Music competition, dance competition, sport competition, quiz competition, technical competition etc. are organized in it. Also DJ night is sometimes held in Nirma College. It also includes the popular dance Garba of Gujarat along with dance. It is celebrated with great pomp and fanfare.
Hostel Facilities :
There were three other people staying in my room in my hostel. The room was cleaned daily. Each room has a bathroom and toilet and is cleaned daily. Switch boards are provided at three places in each room. Separate lockers are provided to the students to store their belongings. Separate beds are also provided for each student. Also AC and non AC rooms are also provided in hostels with different rates.
Faculty :
All the teachers behaved very nicely with the students. He also used to teach students with his knowledge. He also used to teach each student in such a way that they could understand deeply. If any student had a question, he/she got a correct answer.

At Nirma University, students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th sem. The placement cell is active, with top companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, and Oracle visiting the campus, The highest package offered last year wa around 52 LPA, While the average paakage is about 7-8 LPA, depending on the branch and role. Roles offered range from software development to consulting. Approximately 85-90% of students secure development to consulting. After completing my degree, I plan to either join a reputed tech firm or pursure higher studies to futher specialize in my field.

The college provides campus placement, with average placement package being 13-18 LPA and highest package being 67 LPA. Private as well as public sector companies, such as Deloitte, EY etc, as well as bank, ICICI bank, bajaj finance, many more visit. They also provide internship opportunities in the 5th year, varying on each student. Average internship stipend has been claimed to be 40-50k per month and highest going as high as 110k per month

There are barely campus placements not for everyone but for selected students, they don't provide any support for those who don't get placements. The ones who get placements have a per annum income of 4/5 lakhs.
