There was no particular cut off or entrance exam. Infact they were one of the only colleges accepting late admissions for those who wanted to change colleges because of subject problems. There are reservation benefits and the admission procedure is quite simple most of it is online and then just a submission of documents has to be done one of the days in the office after which they'll handle the rest
The extra subs eg iks oe etc are quite different from what we usually get in other colleges which is really interesting some of them have lengthy curriculums. The timings of the breaks and lecs could be a little better.
I am not very sure about the internship part but i did do a course recently which has helped improve my resume. The group projects include field visits and practically putting what we learnt in action.
I am not very familiar with the scholarship although it is provided and it also has reservations for minorities etc. The general fees is approx 30-35k but there are a lot of unnecessary fees in that. There are internship opportunities that keep getting posted for the students which could turn into jobs via kschool which trains us for interviews and professional behaviour etc
There are smart boards which are installed in every class which helps with visual learning like videos and graph etc. We also have a lot of events throughout the year intercollege interdepartmental in different activities like rangoli making, dancing, sports etc. There are industrial visits as well. And many associations by the students of different department who also conduct seminars and drives and events.
The teachers are quite interactive, some have recently become teachers and the rest are experienced ones but all are quite helpful and interactive. I have done chosen psychology and my teachers are really good. They have a few programs for research and other departmental sessions which are helpful.
Some aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is my intrest in the subject and also the efficiency of the faculty in Xavier's . The curriculum is very practical based and helps us for real world applications and offers internships that prepares us for the corporate world . Sometimes the timings of the course are hard to cope up with . The only improvement could be in the timings and the hectic schedule.
Placements are surely available in the Well known companies like Infosys,HDFC Bank,Tesla ,etc . Recruiters are visiting every year to hire the best candidate as per their requirement and needs. The basic package is 8Lpa
I can provide a general rating based on publicly available information, but please note that this may vary depending on the specific course, department, and faculty. Here's a general rating: Relevance: 7/10 Comprehensiveness: 8/10 Reasons: Relevance: - The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect industry trends and developments. - Many courses incorporate practical applications and case studies. - However, some courses may still focus on theoretical aspects, potentially lacking direct industry relevance. Comprehensiveness: - The curriculum covers a broad range of topics within the chosen field. - Courses are often structured to provide a solid foundation, followed by specialized electives. - However, some students may find that certain areas are not explored in sufficient depth. The courses are nicely designed. Under the new NEP system we are getting all aspects of the curriculum with theoretical and practical learning. With subjects like skill course and enhancement course, we get a good viewpoint to look the world from. It prepares students to widen their lenses and gives opportunities in fields outside their core subjects as well.
The course curriculum is comprehensive and relevant, with practical applications and preparation for real-world challenges. Key aspects like industry-focused content influenced my choice. While well-prepared for real-world and further studies, improvements could include more interactive methods. Exams are frequent and challenging, reflecting course material effectively but sometimes adding pressure.
