Likes
- I really appreciate my college because they prioritize academics and have many wonderful teachers. Even when they're not in class, they're always willing to help and teach us.
- There's also a strong sense of community, with students often collaborating and helping each other out. The college provides ample resources, such as a well-stocked library and modern labs, which enhance our learning experience.
- In addition to the strong emphasis on academics and the supportive faculty, the campus environment is vibrant and welcoming. The facilities are well-maintained, offering a great place to study and relax.
Dislikes
- One aspect of my college that I find challenging is the strict enforcement of rules. While I understand the importance of discipline, it can sometimes be difficult for students.
- For instance, if a student is delayed by circumstances beyond their control, such as heavy traffic or a train delay, and arrives just a few minutes late, they are not allowed to enter and must wait outside for an hour
- . This policy can be quite harsh and is an area where I believe there could be more flexibility.
- The college has a strict policy regarding student ID cards. If a student forgets or doesn't have their ID card, they are not allowed to enter the campus and are sent home without any alternative option. While maintaining security is important, there
Remarks :
The admission process was efficient and straightforward. I easily found the necessary information, and any inquiries were promptly addressed by the NKT office staff. They provided clear guidance and were very understanding and helpful throughout the process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is comprehensive and relevant, with practical applications and preparation for real-world challenges. Key aspects like industry-focused content influenced my choice. While well-prepared for real-world and further studies, improvements could include more interactive methods. Exams are frequent and challenging, reflecting course material effectively but sometimes adding pressure.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for the BA program is reasonably priced, making it accessible for students from middle-class families. The cost is manageable and reflects the value of the education provided. However, I have significant concerns regarding the scholarship structure. Currently, scholarships are available exclusively to students from specific caste categories, which limits financial support to a narrow group. This approach excludes other deserving students who may need financial assistance but do not fall within the designated categories. An inclusive scholarship system that considers a broader range of financial needs and criteria would better support a diverse student body and promote equal opportunities for all students.
Campus Life :
Campus life has been very enjoyable. The supportive teachers and numerous friends I’ve made have enriched my experience. I actively participate in various events, with my favorite being the Gymkhana Club, where I am a member. The club offers a range of games and activities, and the sports day is particularly impressive. Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying my time at college.
Faculty :
The faculty at our college is highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. With a low faculty-to-student ratio, students receive personalized attention, enhancing learning. Faculty credentials and diverse teaching methods ensure a well-rounded education, and their availability for mentorship fosters a supportive environment.

Some aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is my intrest in the subject and also the efficiency of the faculty in Xavier's . The curriculum is very practical based and helps us for real world applications and offers internships that prepares us for the corporate world . Sometimes the timings of the course are hard to cope up with . The only improvement could be in the timings and the hectic schedule.

The courses are nicely designed. Under the new NEP system we are getting all aspects of the curriculum with theoretical and practical learning. With subjects like skill course and enhancement course, we get a good viewpoint to look the world from. It prepares students to widen their lenses and gives opportunities in fields outside their core subjects as well.

The extra subs eg iks oe etc are quite different from what we usually get in other colleges which is really interesting some of them have lengthy curriculums. The timings of the breaks and lecs could be a little better.
