For an Executive Business Analytics course, Grate Lakes will be a better option. The course structure is flexible and incorporates the requirement of working professionals. The course is delivered through a balanced blend of classroom teaching and online sessions.

The curriculum is rigorous and covers topics from fundamentals to expert level. Great Lakes Business Analytics course focuses on imparting domain knowledge using Analytics techniques from fundamental to advanced levels through R and Python. Evaluation is done through quizzes, assignments, and capstone project.

Great Lakes faculty includes prominent names such as Dr. Abhinanda Sarkar (Standford alumni), and Dr. P K Viswanathan (Ph.D. from Madras University).

In terms of academics and resources, Great Lakes Business Analytics course is among the best in the country.

If you are interested in a two-year MBA degree, Great Lakes program for Business Analytics is a good choice, considering several factors including placement, teaching style, faculties, and curriculum that assists in career growth. One of my friends attended the institute and speaks very highly of it.

The points below give a brief overview of the Business Analytics program in Great Lakes and its advantages.

  • There are students with no prior knowledge in relevant subjects like statistics, coding, machine learning, etc, but still, get used to the curriculum in Business Analytics.
  • There is a lot of diversity in the institute, with students from different branches in engineering- CSE, Electrical, Mechanical, etc, with several years of experience, and even some entrepreneurs into business. Even from the initial days, students are taught about professionalism, in a smooth learning environment.
  • In a B-School, there are several kinds of individuals to interact with, some trying to make a different career stream, while some trying for a salary hike. Interacting with people from different mindsets has its own advantages.
  • Every session covers one important topic and helps students build up their confidence, including topics like SQL stack, python programming, and Tableau dashboards.
  • There are several eminent faculties from around the world, namely Mahesh Anand, Sayan De, etc. Some teachers are even faculties, professors, or Ph.D. holders from universities like Penn State and Stanford.
  • The placement assistance team in Great Lakes helps a lot for grabbing an opportunity in placement. There are students who are even successful in getting a job before their project is over. Even freshers are offered 9+ LPA jobs from companies like Nielsen, Capgemini, etc.

My friend was a little skeptical about the curriculum and placements of the institute. However, his experience with the degree was quite good. If you want a career in Business Analytics, Great Lakes is definitely a good choice.
