Having known some people studying in both these institutes, I can say that Kalinga University (KU) is much better than Amrita University. Here are some points in support of this statement.

• KU has a great reputation and is often compared with the NITs.
• The placements at KU are far better than at Amrita University.
• Top companies like Infosys, Accenture, HP, PWC, TCS, Dell, etc. take part in their placement program.
• They have a huge campus, very well maintained and equipped with all the necessary facilities.
• The campus environment is excellent with well-equipped hostel rooms.

Kalinga University also got 'A' grade by NAAC. The placements here are one of the best and the institute has been growing rapidly over the last few years.
