What is the average package for ICE branch in NIT Trichy?
Posted On - Sep 9, 2021The average package for the Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE) branch at NIT Trichy during the 2022 placement was around 7-8 lakhs per annum. However, the actual package offered can vary depending on various factors such as the student's academic performance, skills, and the company they are hired.
Some students from ICE branch have also been known to receive higher packages in the range of 10-15 lakhs per annum. It's important to research the specific companies that hire from NIT Trichy and their salary ranges to get a more accurate idea of the potential packages for the ICE branch.
One of my friends recently graduated from NIT Trichy and he was able to give me some information regarding the ICE branch placement at the institute.
Based on the information that I gathered, I will say don’t go for ICE if your aim is placement. Most ICE students from NIT Trichy get placed in software companies, with a similar package as that of a tier-2 CS student.
The problem with the ICE branch is that you won’t get to learn anything in-depth. The core companies that visit the campus look for students with strong technical skills. Which the ICE department does not offer.
Currently, the average package for the ICE branch in Nit Trichy is not good, it is nearly INR 6-7 LPA.
