Which is better, CS in NIT Calicut or CS in BITS Goa?

The average CTC offered to CSE students in the campus placement is INR 15-20 LPA. Almost every student of the branch receives recruitment through the campus drive.
BITS offers better learning resources and facilities. The student crowd of the institute is excellent, owing to their no reservation policy.
BITS Goa is a better college for CSE, although NIT Calicut is also a good college too. Following are the reasons for the same:
- Placements for CSE at BITS Goa are better than NIT Calicut with an average package of 22 LPA and 15 LPA respectively.
- The campus and the college life are much better at BITS Goa as it offers better facilities to the students. The classrooms and the hostel rooms are very beautiful and well maintained, and the culture and environment of the campus are awesome too.
- The competition is better at BITS Goa as the admission is completely based on merits, unlike NIT Calicut where reservation quotas are available as it is a government-run institute.
- The fee structure at BITS Goa is on the higher side with almost 20 lakhs which is almost double that of NIT Calicut. But, it will be worth it as you get quality education, placements, and all kinds of necessary facilities available inside the campus.
If you can afford to pay 20 lakhs for your engineering in exchange for quality education and excellent placements, then you should definitely join BITS Goa.
