New Delhi: On December 18, 2022, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya unveiled the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) programs at AIIMS Bibinagar.

Mansukh Mandaviya declared that additional healthcare facilities would be made available at AIIMS Bibinagar, enabling patients to receive healthcare privileges. Also, it would boost the digital health environment of Telangana's residents. The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) is an innovative state government programme.

The benefit of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Services

Primarily, ABDM facilities include digitising health records across India, which entails scanning the patient's profile and the registration procedure, which will be completed using the QR-based code issued in the ABHA app.

The ABHA app is an internet software that serves as a personal healthcare record (PHR). By using the downloaded app, users can access every one of their health records and self-check their medical records from anywhere in the country.

The Health Management Information System (HMIS) software was developed, according to data on the official site abdm.gov.in, to handle patient data in any hospital, everywhere. This application is designed to offer several healthcare services in digital form that are accessible with just one click.

According to the official press release, the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) card grants users full access, enabling them to monitor their medical information whenever and wherever they are in India.

The relevance and execution of numerous initiatives spearheaded by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi were emphasised by Mr. Mandaviya. The Indian government took this helpful action in an effort to make medical education widely accessible to everyone. This will be accomplished by constructing new medical colleges across the nation. Therefore, a rise in medical seats will also help the healthcare sector's overall goals.

AIIMS, the Leading Institution in India

The freshly enrolled MBBS class (2022-23) participated in Maharshi Charak Shapath, which was led by the Union Health Minister. Minister Mansukh Mandaviya commended AIIMS and said the esteemed institution has such prestige that if there isn't treatment offered there, people assume there are no hospitals in the nation that offer medical care.

AIIMS is given preference by patients above all other organisations. He also emphasised the value of health and the fact that maintaining good health should not be seen as a financial transaction but rather as a humane contribution to humanity.

According to the Union Health Minister, despite the pre-COVID circumstances that were in place in the earlier years, the nation sold azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine to countries throughout the world at standard costs without reaping the benefits of the pandemic problem.

This was in accordance with the Sanskrit concept known as "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," which states that all people on earth are related.
