Tamil Nadu Open University was established with an objective to impart education to deprived people. It was set up in 2002. University is affiliated with UGC. It offers courses in various streams. Last date to apply is March 31, 2015.

Last date of submitting Application form is March 31, 2015 for calendar year and October 31, 2015 For Academic year.
Registration fee is INR 100 if paid by cash whereas INR 150 by demand draft.

- One can buy the form along with prospectus from the study centers
- It can also be purchased from coordinating centers
- Candidates can also get the form and prospectus from the Director, MPDD, TNOU, 577, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai— 600 015 by post on payment by demand draft in favor of Tamil Nadu Open University payable at Chennai
Complete application form can be submitted in addition with University copy of challan at the study center and admission wing of the university either by person or post.
