New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the seat matrix of the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2023 for the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme for the academic session 2023-24.
Candidates can visit the official portal @uceed.iitb.ac.in, to check the category-wise distribution of the available vacant seats at the following institutes;
- IIT Bombay
- IIT Delhi
- IIT Guwahati
- IIT Hyderabad
- IIITDM Jabalpur.
Along with the category-wise seats, the IIT Bombay has reserved 5 % horizontal reservation for candidates from PwD categories and the seats are carved from the respective birth category. All the unfilled PwD seats will get back to its original category as per the institute.
In order to be eligible for admission under a specific category, the candidate will need to provide a valid caste and PwD certificate at the time of admission (wherever applicable).
Meanwhile, the institute is all set to activate the UCEED 2023 registration link at 5 pm today and all the aspiring candidates will be able to register online for UCEED till March 31, 2023.
Candidates who have qualified a merit rank in UCEED 2023 are eligible to participate in the UCEED 2023 counselling process. Those candidates whose names will get featured on the UCEED 2023 counselling and seat allotment list will receive provisional allotment letters from the institute.
