New Delhi: Ranchi University is currently accepting applications for its LLM course for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can download the application form through the official portal, ranchiuniversityils.in. The last date to apply is July 13, 2022.

Ranchi University offers the LLM programme for a duration of 2 years. The process of applying is completely offline. Students need to appear in an entrance exam conducted by the university in order to get shortlisted. The classes for the LLM course at Ranchi University will begin on August 08, 2022.

In order to get admission at Ranchi University, a 3 years LLB degree after graduation under the 10+2+3 pattern or a 5-year LLB degree under the 10+2+5 pattern is mandatory for candidates to possess.

Ranchi University LLM Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate possessing 3 years LLB degree after graduation under 10+2+3 pattern; or
• 5-year LLB degree under 10+2+5 pattern.
• Recognized by the Bar Council of India and/or UGC with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent for General, BC-I, BC-II and 45% marks for ST/SC candidates shall be eligible for admission in LLM course.

Ranchi University LLM Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the qualifying entrance examination.
• Shortlisted candidates then need to appear in the counselling round.
• The final selection is based on the overall performance of candidates' academic scores and performance in the entrance examination.

Ranchi University LLM Admission 2022: How to Apply Offline?

• Candidates can obtain the prescribed form from the Office Counter of the Institute on any working day.
• Payment of INR 500 through Online Fund Transfer or DD in favour of “A-1 Institute of Legal Studies, Ranchi University” Payable at “Ranchi” is required to be made. 
• The Form can also be downloaded from website (www.ranchiuniversityils.in or www.ranchiuniversity.ac.in). 
• Candidates are advised to download the Registration Form and after duly filling send it together with the required documents / DD on the address given here with “Institute of Legal Studies, Ranchi University, Morabadi Campus, Ranchi, Jharkhand – 834008 on or before 13th July 2022. through Speed Post.
