MIT WPU Admission 2023

New Delhi: MIT World Peace University (WPU), Pune has begun the application process for UG and PG level programmes admission 2023. All the interested candidates can submit the online application form through the official website, @https://mitwpu.edu.in/.

MIT WPU offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various specialisations. Candidates who wants to get admission in UG and PG programmes can submit their applications on or before the deadline.

MIT WPU UG admission will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination or entrance exam conducted by the university or other state/national level exams and/or personal interview. Similarly, PG Admission will be based on the MIT-WPU PGPET Entrance Exam followed by the Interview or merit in the qualifying exam.

MIT WPU UG & PG Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the MIT WPU UG and PG courses in various specialisations will have to fulfil the requisite eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for BTech:

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects.
  • Candidates of Maharashtra State Open Category must have secured 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for Backward Class and PWD category of Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together. 

Eligibility Criteria for BBA:

  • Candidates must have passed HSC/ 10+2 from any stream with English as a compulsory subject with min 50% marks (45% for Reserved category) in aggregate.
  • Candidates having 2-years/ 3-years Diploma from the Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or its equivalent MCVC are also eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed:

  • Candidates must graduate with 50% marks (45% for Reserved category of Maharashtra state only) and B.Ed CET from any state of India. 

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:

  • Candidates must have passed in class 10+2 examination with 50% marks to be eligible for UG admissions. 
  • A bachelor’s degree with 50% marks is required for admission to the B.Ed. and LLB courses.

Eligibility Criteria for MTech:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. 
  • Sponsored candidates must have a minimum 2 years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/company/ industry/ educational and/or research institute / any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is sought. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Ed:

  • Candidates must hold a B.Ed. Degree with 50% marks (45% marks for Reserved category of Maharashtra state only) and M.Ed CET from any state of India or D.Ed. and Graduation with 50% marks and M.Ed. CET. 

Eligibility Criteria for MBA & EMBA:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the Reserved category) to apply for an MBA course.
  • For EMBA, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and a minimum of 2 years of industrial experience.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with minimum required score in a relevant specialisations. 

MIT WPU UG & PG Admission 2023: Selection Process

Selection Process for BTech:

  • The university will shortlist the suitable candidates on the basis of MHT-CET/ JEE Main/ PERA CET exam for the B.Tech course.
  • The university may also consider BITSAT, VITEEE, and MU OET exam scores in case of any vacant seat (Under the All India Quota). 

Selection Process for BBA:

  • The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of scores obtained in the Entrance Test called as UGPET, conducted by the university itself.
  • Those who qualify the test need to appear in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
  • The final selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the above rounds. 

Selection Process for B.Ed:

  • Candidate's selection to the B.Ed programme will be based on the scores one in the PERA CET Exam. 

Selection Process for UG Courses:

  • Selection in UG courses will be based on merit in the qualifying examination or entrance exam conducted by the university itself or other state/national level exams and/or personal interview.

Selection Process for PG Courses:

  • Selection to PG courses will be based on the MIT-WPU PGPET Entrance Exam conducted by the university followed by Interview or merit in the qualifying exam. 
  • For courses such as MCA and M.Pharm. selection is done based on the score of MAH-MCA-CET and GPAT exams respectively. 
  • Selection for the M.Ed programme will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam. 

Selection Process for M.Tech:

  • Candidates are evaluated for admission based on their GATE score and work experience.
  • If candidates do not possess a valid GATE score and work experience then the university will conduct a written test and interview, for any vacant seats after the above admission process. 

Selection Process for MBA & EMBA:

  • Admission to MBA courses will be based on the entrance exams scores such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAH-MBA-CET/ PERA CET.
  • Candidates with a valid score in any of the above exams will be called for the GD and PI rounds, conducted by MIT-WPU.
  • For admission to EMBA, the candidates will be selected based on their previous qualifying examination.

Step 1: Go to the official application portal of MIT WPU @https://mitwpu.edu.in/

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the registration window and register yourself using the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Then, pay the application fee and submit the Application form.

Step 5: Finally, take a print out of the form for all future needs.
