Kurukshetra University (KU) has officially introduced a portal for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses, that is the IUMS (Integrated University Management System).
The IUMS portal was inaugurated by Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, the Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University. Talking about the IUMS portal, he said that it is a major step towards making the university a completely digital university according to the vision of Prime Minister Modi and Haryana CM Manohar Lal.
He continued saying that the IUMS portal will also assist in the admission process to the prepare the mark sheets of the students, from all the records of the employees and the institutes, office related work, hostel admissions, room allotments, PR services, all the necessary online services of the students, all the services related to finance and all the services related to the examination will be gradually fully digitized within March 2022.

The online IUMS portal will play an essential role to reach the students and there will be transparency and accountability in the work along with saving of time and paper. Overall, the vision of the university is to be a student-friendly university and complete digitization is a step in that direction, he added.
Furthermore, with the establishment of the IUMS portal in the university, the students can complete the entire process by sitting at their homes. The VC congratulated the RUSA nodal officer Professor Manjula Chaudhary, registrar Sanjeev Sharma, coordinator, Prof Pradeep Kumar, Professor-In-charge Admission Cell Prof Rajender Nath, controllers of exam Hukam Singh and Ankeshwar, and chief wardens Prof DS Rana and Prof Neelam Dhanda for creating the online IUMS portal.
