Date of CENTAC MBA-ET July 19, 2015 (Sunday, from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
Date of Entrance Test for M.Tech., M.Phil. and M.Sc. July 18, 2015 (FN & AN)
Date of Entrance Test for MCA 19th July 2015 between 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Venue: The entrance test will be conducted only in Pondicherry Engineering College.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission 2015:

  • Candidates must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks for general and 45% marks for reserved category
  • Candidates who have passed qualifying examination and who are awaiting results can also apply but they will have to produce the result proof at the time of counseling.

How to Apply for PEC Puducherry PG Admission 2015:

  • Candidate can obtain the application form and information brochure from the Office of PEC Co-operative Credit Society, Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry-605014, in person on all working days from June 08, 2015 on payment of 1030/- for general and Rs.530/-for SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidate can also obtain the application form by post by sending a request to The Convenor, CENTAC-PG,MCA & MBA Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry — 605 014, along with two self-addressed slips (neatly typed or hand written) and a crossed demand draft for 1065/- (Rs.1000/- towards the cost of application and Rs.65/- for postage) (Rs.565/- for SC.ST candidates). (Rs.500/- towards the cost of application and Rs.65/- for postage), drawn in favour of The Convenor, CENTAC-PG, MCA & MBA payable at Puducherry.
  • Filled-in application forms along with all necessary documents should be sent in the prescribed envelope to 'The Convenor, Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC-PG MCA & MBA), Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry — 605014, on or before July 03, 2015 before 5.00 p.m.
  • Candidate can also download the application form from the website www.pec.edu and submitted along with crossed Demand Draft for 1000/- for general and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates drawn in favour of the Convenor, CENTAC-PG, MCA & MBA payable at Puducherry.
  • Payment by cheques, money orders and postal orders will not be accepted.

Admission Procedure for Pondicherry Engineering College PG Courses:

M.Phil. and M.Sc. Candidate will be selected on the basis of the performance in the entrance exam conducted by the CENTAC-PG

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of GATE score.
  • If enough number of GATE qualified candidates are not available then the lapsed seats will be filled by the Non-GATE candidates based on the performance in an Entrance Test to be conducted by the CENTAC-PG.
