JoSAA 2021 counselling process is ongoing online on the official website- josaa.nic.in. JoSAA 2021 Counselling will be conducted in 6 rounds followed by CSAB Special rounds for vacant seats. JoSAA 2021 Seat Allotment

Post the completion of counselling registration and choice-filling process, JoSAA will release the final seat allotment list in 6 rounds based on the choices filled by the candidates and the ranks obtained in JEE Main/ Advanced 2021. After the acceptance of seats, candidates need to report to the institute for document verification.

JoSAA 2021 Online Reporting for Admission to NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, and GFTIs

Candidates who have been allotted seats in JoSAA 2021 Counselling rounds 1-6 need to appear for online reporting instead of physical reporting by making a partial fee payment from Nov 20 to 24, 2021. Candidates who successfully complete the document verification process can pay the fee by following the below-mentioned steps:

• Login on the official JoSAA 2021 candidate portal
• Click on the link ‘Admission and Partial Fee Payment’
• Agree to the terms and conditions
• Pay the partial admission fee of INR 40000 for General/ OBC/ EWS and INR 20000 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates by clicking on the payment link
• Candidates can make the fee payment using Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card or State Bank of India e-challan

Candidates who fail to pay the fee before 5 pm on Nov 24, their allocation will be cancelled and the seats will be declared vacant for CSAB Special Rounds. However, such candidates can participate in CSAB Special Rounds for admission to NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, and GFTIs.

Candidates allotted seats for the first time in round 6 counselling must make sure that they:

• Deposit the Seat Acceptance Fee and Upload the documents by Nov 19, 2021 (5:00 pm)
• Respond to the queries of the document verifying officer by Nov 20, 2021 (5:00 pm)
• Report Online for document verification and make fee payment as per the steps given above

• Photo identity card [issued by govt. agency/last attended school/Class XII admit card]
• Admit card of JEE (Main) 2021
• Scorecard of JEE (Main) 2021

The ministry of education has set up JoSAA 2021. It manages and regulates the joint seat allocation for admissions to 110 institutes. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 29 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). The candidates are offered admissions to these institutes through a common platform i.e JoSAA
