New Delhi: JIPMER has announced that admission to MBBS program at its Puducherry and Karaikal campuses will now be done only through the counselling conducted by the MCC, Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Following the statement made on January 30, 2022, students who applied for MBBS admission seats at JIPMER and have a valid NEET score must note admission will no longer be done directly for seats under the All-India quota and U.T. domicile quota.
Only those students who were allotted JIPMER Admission 2022 seats under the Medical Counselling Committee will be admitted to the institute. After being allotted seats, students need to confirm their eligibility criteria and complete the verification process at the campus.
Recently, the Director, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Puducherry-cum-Nodal Officer, NEET, Puducherry has released an official list of selected candidates for participating in the counselling for Puducherry Union Territory domicile seats.
As for candidates who wish to submit their grievances regarding the JIPMER MBBS Program 2022 admission selection process for Puducherry quota, All India quota, or U.T. domicile quota seats are advised to contact the MCC concerned authorities.

Students who wish to inquire about the non-inclusion against the Puducherry quota seats or inclusion of other non-Puducherry candidates against Puducherry seats can contact the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Puducherry, Jipmer said.
Candidates who have registered for the MBBS Admission process at JIPMER must note that the selection of candidates will be done based on their overall admission score.
The selection process of the JIPMER MBBS Program is done on the basis of the NEET score of the candidate and counselling sessions conducted by the MCC. Those who meet the eligibility criteria and merit list criteria are finally selected for the admission seats.
