New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online application process for the upcoming JEE Main 2022 examination on its official website at nta.ac.in.
Candidates who wish to apply for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Program in NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions can now apply for JEE Main 2022 Exam by submitting their applications on NTA’s website.
JEE Main 2022 Registration window for eligible candidates will be open from March 03, 2022. The last date to submit registrations for the same is March 31, 2022, by 5:00 pm.
As per the latest notice released by NTA, the JEE Main Exam Question Paper includes two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be held for admission to B.E and B. Tech program, while Paper 2 will commence for B. Arch and B. Planning courses.
Following the release of JEE Main 2022 Exam dates, the session 1 (April 2022) examination will be held from April 16, 2022, to April 2022 for all registered candidates. The exam will be held in the morning and afternoon shift in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1
Candidates who wish to apply for JEE Main 2022 Paper 1 (B.Tech/ B.E) and Paper 2 (B.Arch, B.Plan) are required to meet the below eligibility criteria:
- Passed Class 12th or equivalent exam.
- Should have Physics, Mathematics and either of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject) for B.Tech
- Should have Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry subjects in the qualifying exam to apply for JEE Main 2022 for B.Arch.
- Should have Mathematics as a subject in the qualifying exam to apply for JEE Main 2022 for B.Plan.
- Candidates are eligible to appear in the JEE Main for 3 consecutive years. Those who exceed the JEE Main 2022 Attempt limit can not apply for the exam.
JEE Main 2022: How to Apply Online?
Candidates who meet the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria and wish to apply for the examination can now do so by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA JEE Main 2022 at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the “Register for JEE Main 2022” link available.
Step 3: Login by entering your name, mobile number, and email address, and click on submit to continue.
Step 4: On the next page, fill out your JEE Main 2022 Registration Form as required.
Step 5: Upload the scanned images of mentioned documents and pay the application fee through online or offline means.
Step 6: Review your application with care and click on submit to complete your JEE Main 2022 Registration Process.
