IIT Delhi has announced an increase in 46 new JEE Advanced exam centers for 2020.
Amid COVID-19 pandemic, IIT Delhi released a revised brochure for JEE Advanced 2020. According to the brochure, IIT Delhi has increased the total number of exam centers adding 46 new centers and removing one Indian and four foreign centers.
The JEE Advanced 2020 registration will open from September 11 to September 16 on the official website while the exam is scheduled for September 27, 2020.
These major changes in the JEE Advanced 2020 Exam Centers have been made for the smooth conduction of the exam.
The removed Indian exam center is Bhuj, Gujrat while the four foreign exam centers include Kathmandu, Singapore, Dubai, and Dhaka. Foreign exam centers for JEE Advanced 2020 have been excluded keeping in mind the current restrictions imposed on foreign travel and visa issuance. Read More
The official notice by IIT Delhi on July 31, 2020 said, “Due to the current restrictions imposed on foreign travel and visa issuance, it is decided not to conduct JEE Advanced 2020 in foreign centers. All eligible candidates staying abroad may select their preferred choices from the list of exam cities in India for taking JEE Advanced 2020.”
With these changes in JEE Advanced 2020 exam centers, the total number of exam cities has now increased from 212 to 171.

Candidates will be able to download their JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card from September 21 to September 27, 2020. The result and final answer key are scheduled for October 5. Eligible candidates will be able to appear for JEE Advanced AAT after the JEE Advanced results are announced.
