Jamia Hamdard has launched a new undergraduate programme in Journalism and Mass Communication which will primarily focus on TV, broadcast and print media. 

As per the notification released by Jamia Hamdard, the School of Media Education and Mass Communication will conduct the three-year full-time undergraduate programme in journalism with an aim to churn out fully-trained journalists, media and content professionals for leading media organisations.

Moreover, under this programme, special attention will be given to online journalism and mobile journalism (MoJo)

The Dean of the institution, Dean SM Khan while talking about the newly introduced programme said, “This three year Journalism and Mass Communication course launched by Jamia Hamdard is a benchmark in journalism education in India. Individuals who want to make their career in journalism have got a good opportunity to learn all the skills and techniques of the new age Journalism.”
