New Delhi: IMS Ghaziabad has recently organised a Short Term Training Program (STTP) on the "CMIE Prowess Database". The program was held under the direction of the Director, Dr Urvashi Makkar for its PGDM students in the batches 2021-23 and 2022-24.
According to an official statement from the IMS Ghaziabad, the innovative program on CMIE Prowess Database is worth one credit. The program was designed to help aspiring professionals strengthen their skills and become more corporately ready.
Rajeev Ranjan, Assistant Vice President, Education and Research, Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE); Sudarshan Negi, Business Relationship Manager, CMIE; and Pratima Dua, Business Relationship Manager, were the expert resource speakers for the programme.
Dr Urvashi Makkar, who spoke at the event, emphasised the importance of the workshop in helping the students understand the distinctive quality databases and search tools of CMIE Prowess, which would boost their study by giving them quicker access to crucial data.
The specialists delivered comprehensive, sector-specific material in a clear, clutter-free format. They skillfully monitored changes in a variety of industries, including technology, media, telecom, pharmaceuticals, cars, finance, and the economy, among others, revealing unseen trends and problems reshaping the globe.
The IMS Ghaziabad training program was coordinated by Dr. Ajay Patel and Dr. Laxmi Pandey and equipped the participants with the skills necessary to extract structured data about the financial performance of almost 53000 Indian listed, unlisted, and private enterprises in order to make well-informed decisions.
