VIT engineering department regulations have introduced a new measure, from now onwards they will be accepting SAT scores and JEE main for their engineering batch. VIT Chennai has stated in their B. Tech Admission 2021 brochure that they will consider the JEE Main score of the ones who have taken it or SAT scores. Candidates interested in pursuing engineering from VIT are now not mandated to take VITEEE but can apply with JEE or SAT score.

This particular change is applicable in campuses of Andhra Pradesh, Bhopal, and Chennai’s eligibility criteria.

A glimpse of the eligibility criteria of the B.Tech admission of the VIT 2021 batch:

VIT has already been contacted for the changes they have implemented in their admission procedure by introducing the acceptance of SAT and JEE Main score. VIT will notify them once they have finalized the admission procedure.

The candidates planning to pursue the course are required to upload their SAT score or JEE Main score in the duration of April/May just before the counseling process commences.

The admission procedure of B.Tech 2021 in VIT commenced on November 30. The application form of VIT B.Tech is available online on their website viteee.vit.ac.in. The ones planning to pursue will be able to fill-up the form by March 30. VITEEE will be arranged in April.
