SAT exam syllabus comprises high-school concepts and subjects. SAT exam has two types: General Test and Subject Test. SAT exam syllabus of General Test consists of Math and Evidence Reading and Writing. SAT syllabus of the subject test consists of Math, Science, Language, History, and English. Candidates who have proper knowledge of their high-school subjects generally score high in SATeexams and helps them with proper understanding of SAT exam pattern. The SAT exam syllabus of the general test also consists of an optional essay section.

Note: The SAT General Subject test and Essay(optional) has been discontinued by the College Board.

SAT General Test is taken by the majority of the candidates around the world. SAT subject test is taken by candidates who wish to test their skills in a particular subject (Math, English, Languages, etc).

SAT Exam Syllabus 2022 

SAT exam syllabus for Indian students mainly focuses on Math, reading, writing, and language. The SAT Math syllabus tests students based on algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics. SAT syllabus 2022 of the writing section asks candidates to identify an error and rectify them. SAT exam portion of reading tests the understanding ability of the candidate.

SAT Maths Syllabus 

SAT Math is offered in two types - with a calculator and without a calculator. SAT maths syllabus comprises 80% MCQs and 20% grid-in questions. SAT Syllabus for Writing and Language 

The SAT syllabus of writing and language focuses on testing the candidate’s reading and writing skills. The topics are focused on general topics that don’t test prior knowledge of the candidates. SAT general test syllabus of writing and language may also contain graphs and charts for assessing the essential skills of the candidate. The topics are of the following kind:

SAT Math Level 1 Vs Level 2

The one significant difference between SAT Math Level 1 and Level 2 exams is the syllabus. SAT Math Level 1 includes topics like algebraic expressions, coordinate geometry, data analysis, and number sequences. Whereas SAT Math Level 2 Maths includes all these topics along with logarithmic functions and the law of cosines and sines. 

SAT Essay(Optional)

SAT essay section is optional.  But many universities still wants better score in this section. SAT essay 2022 evaluates candidates' reading, writing, and analysis skills. The time duration is 50 minutes and candidates need to write an argument after reading a 650-750 word long passage.

SAT Subject Test English 

SAT English syllabus consists of topics like American Literature, English Literature, and other works from around the world.

SAT Subject Test History
