COMEDK UGET is conducted for admissions in Engineering, Medical/Dental and Architectural undergraduate courses in the colleges that are situated in the state of Karnataka. To appear in this exam a candidate must have passed/appeared/appearing in class 12 examination with science subjects that must include mathematics and english as a compulsory subject.

• The total time allotted for the examination is 180 minutes

• There are total 180 multiple choice questions 

• The syllabus of the examination will comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

• The exam will be conducted in english language only

• Maximum marks for the paper is 180.

• Every question will carry one mark and there is no penalty for incorrect answers.

• However, If there will be a tie then the superiority will be decided on the basis of the number of incorrect answers.

COMEDK UGET 2021: Exam Pattern Highlights

COMEDK is conducted for both engineering and medical courses and so the question pattern is different for both the courses. Some key highlights of the exam are mentioned below:

• For engineering courses there will be single paper of 3 hours

• For medical and dental courses there will be two papers:

1.Physics and Chemistry

2.Biology and English

• The timings for the two papers will be 120 minutes and 90 minutes respectively

• For the candidates who have applied for both medical and engineering courses will have to take two papers:

1.Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

2.Biology and English

• Timings for the two papers will be 180 minutes and 90 minutes respectively

COMEDK UGET 2021: Question Pattern

The number of questions for engineering courses will be less as compared to the other papers as it will be conducted for only three papers i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• There will be 180 questions for engineering courses consisting of 60 questions from each subject

• For medical and dental courses the total number of questions will be 210 in which 60 questions will be each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 30 questions from English

• Question paper for combined (engineering and medical) courses will consist of 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology and 30 questions from English.

COMEDK UGET 2021: Syllabus

COMEDK UGET will be based upon the syllabus of physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology of class 11 and 12. However, the candidates who are applying for admission in architecture undergraduate courses shall check the syllabus for NATA(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) separately because for architecture undergraduate courses there shall be no entrance examination and the admission will be done on the basis of marks in class 12 and performance in NATA.Some of the most important topics that are required to be studies for the entrance exam are mentioned below:

COMEDK UGET 2021: Examination Centers

The examination will be conducted in 23 states. The centers will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. It is not necessary that the candidates will get the centers which they have opted in the application form.COMEDK reserves all the rights to allot the test centers at any place other than the center chosen by the candidate. A candidate can select three test centers as a preference from the list of examination centers at the time of filling up the application form.The allotment of centers also depends upon the availability and number of candidates in a particular area. Preference once submitted and center once allotted cannot be changed under any circumstances. The allocated centers will be mentioned in the TAT(test Admission Ticket).

General Instructions for Candidates:

The exam conducting authority have suggested some instructions for the candidates regarding the online examination.

• The questions will be objective type with 4 choices out of which only one shall be the correct answer

• The fee shall not be refunded under any circumstances including any kind of judicial or statutory reasons.

• The link to download the admit card will be disabled one day prior to the date of examination. So the candidates are supposed to download the hall ticket accordingly

• It is suggested that the candidates must read all the instructions mentioned on the Test Admission Ticket carefully

• If any candidate failed to appear in the examination on the scheduled date, re-examination shall not be held under any circumstances

• The examination shall be conducted in English language only and no option for any other language is available
