Firstly, it is necessary to work with supervisors who have prolonged experience in their field and can preach their coordinates about their past experiences. When starting out in your work career, employees readily absorb the tactics and knick-knacks from their supervisor. In fact, I’ve noticed older employees learning from their juniors as their ideas are fresh. I have been in that place myself when I started working as a part-time lecturer; I was a novice which made me struggle with the course module’s formation. But Jeffrey, my boss had experience of more than 15 years helped me with it and I gradually learned it too. He stayed extra time and guided me through the process of excelling in making course modules. The contrary happened when I joined another company and my boss himself wasn’t experienced for an extended period, and that resulted in my lack of knowledge. This not only resulted in me leaving the job but also leaving without learning about the work and thus had no knowledge.

Secondly, the boss should not only have a positive mindset but also a professional attitude which will maintain dignity in the workplace. I once worked in a company having a gloomy ambiance as the people gave out pessimistic vibes. They were either gossiping or out for a smoke break or taking a 2 hours lunch break and so on. This was possible because their immediate seniors and even their bosses went about the same manner. I felt left out initially but later realized that a person like who always considered their work as an equally important priority and put all my diligence into showing the best results, was unfit here.

To conclude, it should be stated that candidates should only work with bosses having a positive mindset with the desire to teach their subordinates.
