Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? “When people succeed, it is entirely because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with their success.” Use specific reasons and examples to explain your position.

Sample Essay:

They've all heard of people who have been successful, and they've all wondered how successful they have been in their lives. Personally, I believe that hard work and perseverance are the results of success. For two main reasons, I feel the way I'm going to review in the following post.

Also, Check:

First of all, success is always the product of a long period of hard work. Success comes only after a number of correct decisions and small wins and it will gradually take place. In contrast, a stroke of luck is generally seen as a one-off event. The history of my uncle, a successful contractor, is an impressive example. Since 2005, he has run a highly profitable technology company that manufactures and sells a range of products. As he invested in his savings to build and sell a single product, his business started quite young, recruiting his first employee. My uncle contributed to his popularity by introducing new products and gradually rising the size of his business as the product was successful. Later, he grew to include hundreds of employees from a single employee. Although my uncle may have been lucky at one point in the growth of his company, his long-term success can not simply have been the product of a good fortune.

Secondly, success is usually the result of careful planning, study, and schooling, which takes a great deal of effort. For example, some people told me that my uncle was lucky enough to be able to sell his first product. But he was positive that even before he started making his product, his product would have been a success. This is because he has spent a few thousand dollars in research in the industry and focus groups. The initial success of his business was assured by this investment of time and money, not by chance.

Conversely, just before the start of the business, when his small firm merged with another company, some thought he was blessed. But my uncle spent weeks interviewing and forecasting their success with the organization’s research and development team on the basis of their knowledge. He wouldn't have finished the merger unless he was confident of their skill. Again, despite what some critics say about it, this win was more a product of patience than a chance.

Finally, I genuinely believe that it is through hard work that success comes. It took a lot of time to produce results and very carefully constructed work was also necessary.
