Topic: Should a high school be built in your community?

Model Answer 1:

Education is the most significant part of a person’s life. Schools have a great impact on good education. Being able to study at a good school with all the essential necessities is vital in a student’s life. In our area, we have only middle school, and students are required to move away to pursue higher education. It really affects the student and his/her family. To bring a solution to this a high school should definitely be built in our community.

I believe that having a new high school in the community means that students have more opportunities to register for school. Before that, these people could not take admission to the school due to financial reasons. This is because their parents could not afford such high fees and the expense to live far away from home. Moreover, few youngsters play a significant part in earning for their family by doing part-time jobs. Therefore they can't just leave their work and move away for higher education and this results in loss of education. A newly built high school can help them to continue studying without moving away from their home. They can go to school for only half of the day, and help their family in the rest time. This brings learning opportunities for those youngsters and also provides them a more bright future.

In conclusion, I agree that a high school should be built in the community. As this will ease a lot of things in the younger generation’s lives.

Model Answer 2:

I support the idea of building a new high school in my community, as there are no high schools in my community and the nearest one is almost three miles away from the local area.

Students in the community need to travel a lot of distances to study at a high school by their personal vehicle or any transportation available. As everyone can't afford to have their own private vehicle and the parents are also finding it hard to drop their kids daily at the school which is very far from their workplaces.

Because the high school is far away and several kids have to take either buses or auto-rickshaws, there is always some traffic problem in the route during the school timings. There is also a possible risk as the auto-rickshaws manage to carry more children than that can be carried by their autos therefore there is a risk of accidents by these overcrowded autos.

The property which was designated for the construction of the high school is being encroached by private people. Our community mostly comprises working-class people who cannot bear to send their children in school buses and there is a lot of time being wasted for transportation to the school. We have other facilities like universities, hospitals, etc in our community but lack a high school. It would also be comfortable for younger children to go to the school if it is built in our community and the parents would not stress over dropping off their kid at school.

Lastly, the high school can also provide various employment opportunities to the graduate people of the community. In conclusion, I support that a new high school should be built in my community.
