Topic: Has the media paid too much attention to celebrities?

Model Answer 1:

I think that the media do give too much attention to celebrities. They dig their past through magazines, websites, and whatnot just to make some news about it and gain TRP. Too much attention would affect anybody’s mental health. It surely makes them uncomfortable sometimes but the media chooses to overlook this.

There are many important issues in this world that require media attention. But the media is busy capturing a celebrity’s airport look or gym look which is totally absurd. Indeed it can affect their peace and they can't track down any opportunity to have their privacy. Moreover, the interventions of the media in their day-to-day life lead to more issues like divorce, illnesses, and infections.

Another reason why I think it is totally inappropriate to give too much attention to the celeb's life is that it can waste our time. It is generally believed that it's anything but useful for the public to engage in stuff like this when there is no interesting point about that.

Further, this significance lies in the fact that it can disturb the celebrity's morals and allow people more to know about any specific person. So, I should be thanking God for bestowing me such a calm life.

The perspective of the people who believe that they should know everything about a celebrity's life is acknowledged at times. However, following them every time, wanting to know every detail should not be okay. In fact, celebrities' lives are wasting our time. Some people get so obsessed that their only role is to just follow their favorite celebrity. Hence the media should leave the celebrities alone and stop making them such a big deal as there are more significant issues that need attention.

In today’s day and age of the internet, excessive attention towards the personal lives of celebrities is a major problem. I believe such extreme attention not only harms society but also affects the lives of those celebrities as well. Many newspapers, Tv channels, and magazines have special sections dedicated to cover the personal details of celebrities. I think such inclusion of celebrities has a harmful effect on society.

First of all, the section that covers unimportant information can be used for much more significant things, which would in fact influence the readers in some way. The specific section can be utilized for covering the news that affects the society or local government elections, etc. Also, many celebrities had the option to direct this constant media attention to their benefit. For instance, in the United States, Kim Kardashian has built a brand image of her and her family’s personal lives, with even a reality show dedicated to them. Thus, this in turn attracts more and more people into their personal lives, which clearly will not help the viewer in any way.

Sometimes, the celebrities may also get affected by the constant telecast of their personal lives to the world. It is notable that many young celebrities who could not manage such attention had developed personal problems. Such constant attention could take a toll on their personal life, even a tiny mistake in front of the media could lead to their personal life being torn apart. There have been several instances where actors or politicians were found doing something embarrassing in private leading to great public loss of image.

From the common man to celebrities everyone has a right to privacy and it is our responsibility to respect the same. The media need to stop interfering in the personal lives of celebrities.
