Some people tend to eat their meals in restaurants, while others prefer to cook and eat their meals at home. Which one is your favorite? To back up your response, provide clear reasons and examples.

Model Answer 1:

People nowadays have a wide range of dining options and they can eat in wonderful restaurants that serve food from all over the world or prepare delectable meals in the comfort of their own homes using modern technology. Instead of going out to eat, I prefer to eat at home. I believe this for two reasons in the following para.

Also check:

First and foremost, home-cooked food is superior to restaurant fare, and I value my health greatly. Although restaurant food is certainly delicious, it usually contains a lot of oil, salt, and sugar. Excessive consumption of unhealthy ingredients may harm our health and lead to chronic diseases. When I cook for myself at home, I keep track of how much food I consume and try to avoid using unhealthy ingredients whenever possible. Really, my food doesn't taste as good as it does in a five-star restaurant, but I still enjoy making it. The happiness that comes from the enjoyment that went into cooking it, as well as the peace of mind that comes from understanding that I am taking care of my body rather than only tasting the food.

Second, everybody knows how expensive restaurants can be. I don't blame restaurant owners because I understand they have a lot of bills to pay for jobs, real estate, and utilities, but food that could cost $5 in a home kitchen will indeed cost ten times as much in a restaurant. Besides, the tipping tradition in my country raises my dining prices. For example, I remember paying about fifteen dollars for a simple meal of fish and chips last month. Potatoes are obviously the cheapest vegetable in the world, and since I live near the sea, fresh fish can be purchased for a few dollars per pound at a local market. While I enjoyed it, the amount of money I paid for it made me feel risky with my money.

I prefer to eat at home rather than in a restaurant. It is much more cost-effective than going out for an expensive meal. This is how I feel because I believe that eating at home is healthier.

Model Answer 2:

Eating home is any day a better option to adopt than eating out. The pros of eating at home will outweigh the cons too. These days no matter how hard it becomes, people tend to eat at home. Even after working for 12 hours a day, some people prefer cooking at home. The reason is very basic, eating out not only costs you quite a plentiful amount of money and is also detrimental to your health.

The very first group of people who are likely to prefer eating out is the working professional. Working professionals generally feel tiresome after working which makes them eat out or order in. Now, this may seem feasible but constantly eating out can create a heap of money that you would otherwise have saved. A normal restaurant in my town generally costs around 2 to 3 dollars for one person. Now, if you’re someone on the hunt for healthy dishes then the cost will expectedly rise. Only posh restaurants will offer you healthy alternatives which you would otherwise have prepared at your place by incurring a partial amount.

The next anticipated aftereffect of eating out is the number of noxious elements you are putting in your belly. The taste for which you run after restaurants or cafes is derived from numerous detrimental factors that may have a perverse effect on your body. It is acceptable to eat out once in a while but making it a habit will not turn out to be a beneficial decision in the long run. The extraordinary factor is that a few of the alterations will actually result in a tasty dish in your home itself. You can buy yourself oregano to use as toppings just like the restaurants would in pizzas, you can get yourself lettuce and make a delicious chicken salad. And with ample options provided in today’s time, preparing tasty food is no more a headache.

A very significant fact about not eating out is - you will be able to develop your favorite dish by putting healthier choices. Like using margarine instead of butter, not putting the whole tub of cheese in the burger, making homemade brownies with natural ingredients rather than purchasing pricey ones with unhealthy ingredients.
