Some prefer to self-learn, they believe that by doing this they can study well and save a lot of time by not going to classes. But the question is that if people could learn by themselves then why are there so many education institutes? Why do people go to universities? Why does our government spend so much money on the betterment of schools and universities? Well in my point of view learning with a teacher is a lot better and beneficial than learning by yourself.

These days self-learning seems to be the easiest option for many because of the vast amount of courses present online. But one can only learn better when he/she understands better. Online courses can provide ample information but they cannot teach you the way a teacher can.

A teacher not only teaches what is there in the textbook but also shares facts, experiences, stories related to the same topic, and much more. While when you learn by yourself you can only read and learn the data present at the moment, you would not want to refer to a fact or a story regarding the same.

A teacher has the expertise of a particular subject or course and to develop your ideas you require the experience of a teacher. For instance, my friend wanted to learn Spanish for his further studies. So he brought all the books and courses available online. Although there was everything present clearly still he couldn’t pronounce the words correctly and improve the grammatical errors. Therefore he had to hire a teacher and this changed his learning game completely.

One of the most common issues with self-learning is that motivation fluctuates every day which is quite definite in humans. Learning with a teacher helps you concentrate and stay motivated until you achieve your desired goal. Knowledge is everywhere and there is no doubt that knowledge can’t be self-acquired. But we also need to understand that not every skill can be taught from videos and books. We need a teacher for the right guidance and to stay motivated during the learning process.

In conclusion, I think that learning with a teacher is better than by myself. This is because with a proper guide it is easier to achieve the goals.

The world of knowledge and technology is growing rapidly. To grow in the field of your career you need to cope with every advancement of technology and sciences. In order to succeed in your field, you can choose either to learn from a teacher or by yourself. At present, there are numerous means of learning accessible to students. This is why the question arises in every person’s mind, should we need to attend the classes to learn from an educator? Is it not possible to learn all by yourself? Well, this differs from person to person. Most people believe that self-learning is the best way of learning but others adhere to a different opinion.

My friend is an introvert and she likes to study late at night relaxing on her sofa, staring into the laptop watching videos related to a particular subject. Whereas I am more of an extrovert and like to study in a class under the guidance of a teacher. I cannot just watch videos and learn everything on my own. All my life I have always had someone to teach me or guide me through. So I am used to that kind of learning pattern.

While studying alone many doubts arise and we cannot ask such doubts online. While with a teacher you can ask even the basic question and he/she will answer in the easiest way possible. Also, we can not check our own mistakes and we can not ask the person teaching in the video to check them. Whenever we are in need of any advice we can rely on teachers to provide us with the right guidance. Studying under a teacher’s supervision helps us to understand our niche. Hence, we need teachers for various reasons.

And I strongly believe that the things a teacher can teach you, can’t be taught from any book or videos. A teacher’s experience really helps to grow and flourish in the career.
