JNTU, Hyderabad will conduct TS EAMCET 2020 on May 4, 5 and 7 for Engineering programs and May 9, 11 for Agriculture programs in computer based format. Application Process for TS EAMCET 2020 has started from February 21, 2020, candidates can fill the form till March 30 without paying any late fee. 

Each year nearly 2 lakh engineering and agriculture/ medical aspirants appear for TS EAMCET. There are certain specifications pre-defined by the authorities while scanning and uploading a few documents.

TS EAMCET 2020 Photograph Specifications

While scanning and uploading your photograph it is important to take care of two major particulars namely Photo details & Photo size. Listed below are important points related to photograph document in the online form:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size color picture.
  • The picture must be clicked against a white background
  • While getting clicked, look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
  • If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye".
  • Photographs with candidates wearing hats, caps, and/or dark glasses will not be accepted
  • If a candidate wears glasses, he/she must ensure that there is no reflection and their eyes are visible clearly in the photograph

TS EAMCET 2020 Signature Specifications

Candidates are required to scan and upload their official signature in the application form. Make sure that the signature is valid as the specimen of the same will be printed on TS EAMCET Admit Card. 

  • Signature must be done on a white paper with a black ink pen.
  • The signature must be done only by the applicant and not by any other person
  • Signature on the hall ticket and attendance sheet must match the uploaded signature. Any mismatch will result in cancellation of candidature.

How to Resize Photo and Signature Images?

Scanned images of the photograph and signature can be resized easily by following the steps given below-

Option 1 - Resize photo using Photoshop

  • Open the image to be resized
  • Click on the Image drop-down menu and select Image Size
  • Type the dimension in Width and Height box
  • Uncheck the box Constraint Properties
  • Click ‘Ok’ button
  • After clicking on the button, check image properties for image size

Option 2 - Resize photo using MS Paint 

  • Open image in MS Paint
  • In the toolbar, go to resize option
  • Uncheck “Maintain Aspect Ratio” and readjust the pixels as instructed
  • Click ‘Ok’ button
  • After clicking on the button, check image properties for image size.

Important Instructions for TS EAMCET Photograph & Signature

  • Candidates must sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator only.
  • Candidates must bring additional copies of passport size photographs, as used during TS EAMCET Registration.
  • Photographs should not have cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.
  • Applications without clear photographs are liable to be rejected.
  • Taking pictures from a smartphone must be avoided. The photograph to be uploaded must be professionally clicked and should be of high quality.
  • Avoid abstract or dark backgrounds in the photograph.
  • The face of the candidate (between chin and forehead) must occupy more than 50% area of the photograph.
  • For Signature, candidates have to upload their signature in the appropriate box given in the online application form in running handwriting.
  • Writing full name in the box in capital letters will NOT be accepted as the signature. Doing so can lead to cancellation of the application form.
