The results will be declared separately for both the sessions of examination.Some important factors regarding the qualifying marks are discussed below:
The MCQ section of the question will carry 75 marks and the candidates are required to score at least 18 marks in this section to qualify.
The drawing section will carry 125 marks and the candidates are required to score at least 32 marks in this section to qualify.
The above mentioned sectional score criteria is necessary as if the minimum marks for both papers would not be secured then the candidates shall be disqualified.
In both the paper the minimum qualifying percentage is 25%
The maximum marks for the entire paper is 200 and the overall cut off shall be decided by the authority after the examination.

The overall percentage to qualify for NATA 2021 should be minimum 40% i.e.a candidate has to secure at least 80 marks out of 200.Also, the candidates need to qualify in each section with at least 25% marks i.e.minimum 18 marks out of 75 in MCQ section and 32 marks out of 125 in drawing section.If any candidate fails to secure minimum marks in any of the subjects then S/he shall be considered disqualified even if the overall qualifying marks has been obtained.
The cut off will be declared after the examination process will be over.The cut off will be based upon the criteria mentioned below:

Toughness level of the question paper
Total number of seats that are available in the participating institutes
The overall performance of the candidates in the examination
The exam conducting authority will not hold any separate session of counselling.The candidates who are qualified have to apply individually for the preferred institutes for which they are eligible.To register for the counselling the candidates are required to pay the registration fee to the institution which they are applying for.A tuition fee is also required to be paid which will be refunded later in order to lock their choices.
