NATA is conducted for admissions in undergraduate architecture courses.The exam is conducted twice a year.Results for NATA 2021 will be declared in the month of May and June 2021 for first and second phase respectively.Candidates can check their results on the official website of NATA by entering the login credentials i.e.application number and password.Candidates can appear for both the phases of NATA and they can submit either of the results, whichever is better.After the results the candidates are required to apply for the colleges individually as there are no common counselling procedures.The validity of the score is valid for only one academic session for which the entrance exam has been taken.

NATA 2021: Result Highlights

The results will be declared separately for both the sessions of examination.Some important factors regarding the qualifying marks are discussed below:

• The MCQ section of the question will carry 75 marks and the candidates are required to score at least 18 marks in this section to qualify.

• The drawing section will carry 125 marks and the candidates are required to score at least 32 marks in this section to qualify.

• The above mentioned sectional score criteria is necessary as if the minimum marks for both papers would not be secured then the candidates shall be disqualified.

• In both the paper the minimum qualifying percentage is 25%

• The maximum marks for the entire paper is 200 and the overall cut off shall be decided by the authority after the examination.

NATA 2021: Response Sheet

After the entrance exam the answer key for mathematics and general aptitude will be released on the official website.No answer key will be released for other sections.After the answer key a response sheet will be uploaded in which the candidate will be able to see their response.The response sheet will help the candidates to see their answers and predict the score and rank accordingly.Candidates can also raise a review request for the result online on the official website by filling a form and paying the required fee(if applicable).

NATA 2021: Merit List

The merit list will be prepared after the declaration of NATA 2021 results.Only those candidates will be able to see the merit list who will clear both the sectional and overall cut off in the exam.The parameters for the preparation of merit list are mentioned below:

• Minimum 25% marks shall be secured in each section
• Merit list will be based upon the performance of the candidate in both section
• Candidates shall clear the overall cut off decided by the exam conducting authority
• If there will be two candidates with the same marks then the ranking will be decided by the tie-breaking criteria.

NATA 2021: Tie Breaking Criteria

The merit list will be published on the basis of the performance of the candidate in both the sections of the examination.In case two candidates get an equal marks then the superiority will be decided on the parameters mentioned below:

• The candidate who secure more marks in mathematics will get higher rank
• The candidate with less incorrect answers in the mathematics will be considered superior
• If the case still exist then the candidate having more marks in aptitude test will get higher rank
• Further, if the case still exist then the candidate having less incorrect answers in aptitude test get higher rank
• Age can also be considered as a criteria in which the candidate who is older will get higher rank

NATA 2021: Cut off and Qualifying Marks

The overall percentage to qualify for NATA 2021 should be minimum 40% i.e.a candidate has to secure at least 80 marks out of 200.Also, the candidates need to qualify in each section with at least 25% marks i.e.minimum 18 marks out of 75 in MCQ section and 32 marks out of 125 in drawing section.If any candidate fails to secure minimum marks in any of the subjects then S/he shall be considered disqualified even if the overall qualifying marks has been obtained.

The cut off will be declared after the examination process will be over.The cut off will be based upon the criteria mentioned below:

• Total number of candidates appeared in the examination

• Toughness level of the question paper

• Total number of seats that are available in the participating institutes

• The overall performance of the candidates in the examination

NATA 2021: Counselling

The exam conducting authority will not hold any separate session of counselling.The candidates who are qualified have to apply individually for the preferred institutes for which they are eligible.To register for the counselling the candidates are required to pay the registration fee to the institution which they are applying for.A tuition fee is also required to be paid which will be refunded later in order to lock their choices.

• After the allotment of preferred seats the candidates are required to proceed for the documentation process(verification and submission of documents)

• The candidates shall be disqualified even after the counselling process if there will be any discrepancy in the eligibility criteria as stated in the application form
