MAT CBT Mode: Important Features

MAT 2022 CBT mode stands for Computer Based Test and is more popularly called the online mode of examination. Candidates have to take the test on a computer at the designated exam center under the supervision of invigilators and CCTV cameras. The Key features of MAT CBT mode are:

  • It ensures maximizing attempts as you have the on-screen clock to help you better manage your time.
  • Candidates can mark and review questions they are doubtful about and refer to them later.
  • Candidates can use any number of rough sheets when they need them for rough work.
  • There are chances of technical glitches, however, there will be many technical supervisors to assist you with the issues.
  • Since the exam will be held at the exam centers, candidates must carry a sanitizer and mask to the exam hall along with the required documents
    • MAT Admit Card 2022
    • Valid ID Proof
    • Passport-size photograph
    • Disability proving certificate (for PwD candidates)

MAT PBT Mode: Important Features

MAT 2022 PBT mode stands for Paper-Based Test and is conducted offline at the designated test centers for MAT. The candidate will be given a Question Booklet along with an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) Answer Sheet. Using a pencil (HB Pencil) candidates have to mark their option by filling the circles. Some of the key features of MAT PBT mode are:

  • No chances of technical failure as there is no use of computer systems.
  • Candidates can attempt any question they want without any wastage of time in going to and forth between screens as in online modes.
  • If the candidate has to change any answer, he has to erase completely the one already marked and darken the new option with the pencil.
  • The candidate should be vigilant in filling up the oval because half-filled oval, double filled ovals will be considered as wrong answers and no marks will be given corresponding to that answers.
  • Candidates will not be provided any extra rough sheet other than the blank space provided at the end of the question booklet. So utilize the rough space judiciously.
