MAT 2021 Result for PBT, CBT, and IBT modes has been declared for the September session on September 23, 2021, by AIMA. The result and scorecard are available online on the official website of AIMA, i.e., mat.aima.in. MAT 2021 for the September session has been successfully conducted for all the 3 modes. MAT IBT 2021 was conducted from August 28 to September 12. For CBT mode, the exam has been conducted on August 21 and September 12, 2021. MAT 2021 exam for PBT mode has been conducted on September 5. Visit the official website of AIMA, i.e., mat.aima.in
Go to the ‘download result’ section(as shown in the image below)
Select the ‘September session’ for MAT
Enter registration number and roll number
Click on ‘submit’

MAT scorecard 2021 will be online on the official website of AIMA. Some notable points regarding MAT scorecard are as follows:

Candidates can download the scorecard by entering the registration number and roll number

There are some important points that must be considered regarding MAT 2021 results. Candidates must refer to the points mentioned below:
The candidates will be given scaled scores, composite scores, and percentile.
A scaled score will be received for each section
The composite score will be calculated from the scaled scores in four sections and general awareness shall not be included in the composite score.
Composite scores fall within a range of 199-801.
Percentiles will be considered by the institutes that will invite applications for admission in management courses
Indian and global environment section is not included in the calculation of percentile.
MAT results can also be checked through mobile phones via SMS mode. If the internet is not available the candidates can send SMS from their mobile phone and the result will be received through SMS. To get the result through SMS the candidates are required to send a message in the format mentioned below:
“MAT space <form number> space <date of birth>” to 54242

After the publication of results, the candidates are supposed to apply for the colleges offering admission on the basis of MAT scores. A candidate can apply for a minimum of five colleges and a maximum of 7 colleges selected at the time of application. If the candidates have already selected the college at the time of application then the college authorities will contact the candidates after the declaration of results. If the candidates have not selected the college then they have to apply after the declaration of result through the official website to appear in the selection process. MAT cut off will be declared by AIMA. It is the minimum marks capped on which the qualification of the candidate is decided. Every candidate has to score cut off marks or above to qualify for the exam. The colleges accepting MAT as score also release their cut-off marks individually which also varies on the basis of departments. The expected cut off for some top B-Schools are tabulated below:

The selection process of MAT depends upon the colleges that accept MAT scores for admission. Every college has its own eligibility criteria depending upon the cut off marks and marks in the degree examination. After the declaration of results, the candidates have to clear GD and PI(Group Discussion and Personal Interview) in order to get admission to the desired course and branch. There are some colleges that also test the writing skills of the candidates which are necessary to be cleared for admission.
