The registration process for MAT 2021 is likely to be started in the month of March 2021. Candidates can apply for the exam on the official website of MAT. Link for application will be active upto 1st week of May for paper based test and upto 2nd week of May for computer based test. The application shall be made online and no hard copy of any document is required to be sent via post. Candidates can apply for both paper based and computer based tests.

The minimum eligibility criteria is that a candidate shall have passed/appeared/appearing the final year degree course or equivalent. Around 600 colleges and universities throughout the country accept MAT scores for admission in management courses.

• Candidates can select 5 institutes where they can send their scores after the result in order to seek admission.
• Additional colleges can be selected by paying an amount of 118.00 INR per college.
• Candidates can appear for both modes of examination by paying an extra amount of 1100.00 INR with the existing application fee and they will also enjoy the benefit for applying to 2 more institutes where they can send their scores after the results.

Before proceeding to fill the application form for MAT 2021 candidates have to register online on the official website of MAT. The process to register online are as follows:

• Click on ‘online registration’

How to Recover Application Number and Password?

If a candidate forget his application number or password then it can be easily recovered by the steps mentioned below:

• Visit the official website of MAT

• Click on ‘forgot password’

• Enter the registered email address, phone number and date of birth

• The candidate will get a password reset link on the registered email address

• Click on the link to reset and create new password

• Login with new password

• In case of application number, candidates can check their previous mail sent by MAT at the time of registration.

MAT 2021 Application Fee

The application fee for MAT 2021 will be around 1550.00 INR for computer based test and paper based test. However, if a candidate wants to apply for both modes of examination then the application fee for that candidate will be around 2600.00 INR. The application fee must be paid online. The available methods for payment of application fee are:

• Net banking

• Credit and Debit cards(Visa/master card/maestro/Rupay cards/American Express)

• UPI(via paytm)

• Online/e-wallet(Paytm only)

• IMPS(through any bank)

After completing the payment a receipt will be generated automatically and it will have all the details of transaction number and date and time of payment. The e-receipt shall be kept safe for future reference. If the receipt has not been generated after the transaction then the payment is incomplete. The candidates must check that receipt is generated after payment. The payment shall be done again if the receipt is not generated. Any extra or multiple payment done will be refunded within 7-10 working days to the original mode of payment.
