BIMTECH Cutoff varies each year, depending upon the number of vacant seats in the institutes and several other factors that comes into play. The shortlisted students are then called for Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview. In addition to CAT, BIMTECH also admits students on the basis of MAT and other management exam scores. MAT Cutoff for BIMTECH, Noida

BIMTECH offers Post Graduate Diplomas in four streams viz. Management, International Business, Insurance Business Management and Retail Management. The institute also offers PhD/Fellow Programme in Management. The admission to all these programmes is done through management entrance such as CAT, MAT, XAT as mentioned earlier.

Eligibility criteria For Admission

Merit category (General, SC/ST/Minorities/ Differently Abled) fills 90 % of the category. Regular Admission is granted to those applicants who have fulfilled all the admission requirements and whose names appear in the regular merit list of successful applicants. Eligibility criteria for interested candidates are mentioned below 

1. Minimum 50 percent marks in Graduation. Candidates appearing in Final Year Graduation Examination (1st attempt) in Summer 2019 can also apply. Such candidates will have to produce the final year result of Graduation with min. 50% marks in aggregate on or before 31st Oct’ 19 failings which their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled.

2.(a) For admission to PGDM & PGDM (IB), an applicant must have a valid CAT (Scorecard of CAT 2018) or valid XAT 2020 score or valid GMAT 2019-20 score.

(b) For admission to PGDM (RM) & PGDM (IBM), an applicant must have valid CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score.

3. For Physically disabled candidates- Certificate of Physical Disability issued by CMO or Civil Surgeon of any Government Hospital authorized to issue such. To be produced at the time of GD & PI failing which the applicant will be considered under ‘General Category’ of Merit seats.

BIMTECH 2019 Selection process

Generally, B-Schools start their selection process after the declaration of CAT result. So, to avoid overlapping in the selection process and provide ease to candidates, BIMTECH conducted an early-round of selection process on December 17, 2018, and December 18, 2018. The candidates were invited for early-round process based on their profile as judged from their:

Consistency and good past academic performance

Relevant work experience (if any) that brings value to class room learning.

Last date for application was November 30, 2018. BIMTECH selection process includes 3 stages. The stages for selection for admission at BIMTECH include:

Stage 1:- Every student should appear for CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT. The score of these exams will be considered for admission into BIMTECH.

Stage 2:- candidates have to secure an application form. The application form is available on the official website of BIMTECH. The application form is for rs 1500/-. Candidates need to fill in their details properly and their entrance test percentiles (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT) in the online application form for preparation of the final selection list based on merit.

After you have filled in your application form, you’ll get a call for the interview cording to your score (of the exam through which you are applying.)

Call for Personal Interview:

The second stage consists of essay writing and personal interview. The call letters for the selection process will be sent on the e-mail id provided in the application. A hard copy of the call letter will also be sent on the address provided in the application form.

Note- NO GD in BIMTECH final selection process. There will be no GD round in Final selection process at BIMTECH.

Stage 3:-

The final stage is making of final selection merit list.

Final selection list is prepared taking into account the candidate’s :

1) Profile based score

2) Entrance test scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT)

3) Performance in Personal Interview and Write-up based on their respective weightages

Final Selection List would be declared by 1st week of October 2019 (tentative)

On the date of applying, an applicant should be either:

1)  Appearing in Final Year Graduation Examination (1st attempt) in Summer 2019.

OR

2)  Has a ‘pass’ result of Graduation i.e. no backlog.
