DU First Cutoff 2020 List has been released online for all the affiliated colleges on October 10, 2020.  This year the cutoff set by St. Stephen’s College witnessed the biggest jump with most of the courses minimum cutoff above 99%. Whereas the cutoff for many courses in Ramanujan College slashed by 1-2% this year. Among the popular choices of DU, Kirori Mal College has also increased its cutoff by 0.25 to 1 point for several courses. Check the college wise first cutoff list.

DU First Cutoff 2020: Shri Ram College of Commerce

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has proven to be the most sought option by the students. But the cut off has achieved another high with 99% for Economics and 99.5 for Commerce Streams. 

DU First Cutoff 2020: Hans Raj College

Hansraj College cut off has increased to 99.25% this year. Students pursuing Economics and English have increased by 0.25% and 0.75% respectively. The cut off for Hindi has also increased to 90%, 4% more than the previous year. For Science programs, Physics cut off has increased by 1% and Chemistry by 0.66%, this year.

DU First Cutoff 2020: Hindu College

Hindu College has increased the B.Sc cut-offs to 99%+ in three BSc (Hons) courses -- Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. For BA Economics, the cut off has increased to 99.25%, more than the previous year.

DU First Cutoff 2020: Lady Shri Ram College for Women

 Lady Shri Ram College for Women has made a record of 100% cut off for its three BA Honors programs i.e Economics, Political Science and Psychology.

DU First Cutoff 2020: Miranda House

Miranda House opened its Cut off list with increasing figures in comparison to the previous year's first cut off list. BA (H) English at Miranda House has touched 99%, creating tough competition amongst students to get into the stream.

The highest cutoff of 96% is recorded for B.A. (Hons.) Psychology course, followed by B.Sc (Hons.) Bio-Chemistry. The Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women cut off for B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology and B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics is set at 92%.

DU First Cutoff 2020: Mata Sundari College For Women

The cutoff for B.Com and B.Com (Hons.) courses is the same as of 2019. A huge leap of 2% can be seen in many courses offered by Mata Sundri College for Women. Last year the cut-off set for B.A. (Hons.) English was 92%, which this year stans at 94%. A big jump of 4% can be seen in B.A. (Hons.) History cutoff.

DU First Cutoff 2020: Satyawati College

The cutoff marks for arts and commerce remain unchanged in comparison to last year. An increase of 3% can be seen in B.A. (Hons.) History course and stand at 89%. Whereas the cutoff for B.A. (Hons.) Hindi dropped by !%. Girl candidates seeking admission at Satyawati College will be given a relaxation of 1% in the best four percentage.

DU First Cutoff 2020: Kirori Mal College 

Kirori Mal College of DU has set the maximum cutoff for B.A. (Hons.) Political Science to 99%. Followed by B.Com (Hons.) and B.A. (Hons.) Economics. All eligible candidates may click the college & course in the Dashboard from (10:00 a.m. 12.10.2020 to 5:00 p.m. 14.10.2020). Admission will be considered as per University guidelines.

DU First Cutoff 2020: P.G.D.A.V. College (Evening)

The P.G.D.A.V. College has set the maximum percentage for B.Com (Hons.) course to 95% followed by B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics with minimum marks 94%. While admission the female students will be given an advantage of 1% in all the courses.

The minimum marks required for admission in B.A. (Hons.) Economics increased from 95% to 97% this year. While the Ramanujan College cutoff for courses like B.Com, B.Com (Hons) and B.A. (Hons) English slashed by 1-2% in comparison to last year.

DU Cutoff 2020 Schedule

The Delhi University notification elaborates the schedule to release UG, PG merit and entrance-based cutoff list followed by admission and payment deadlines against each merit list. The schedules have been separately for DU Merit-based and Entrance-based admission.

The dates to release the first cutoff has been preponed by 2 days as earlier the schedule revealed the first cutoff date as October 12 with admission process beginning the same day as well. Check details below:

Meanwhile, DU affiliated colleges as of St.Stephen’s College has released the cutoffs on September 15, prior to DU released the dates. However, unlike previous years, this year, Jesus and Mary College will follow the usual schedule for admission as stated by DU. 

As known, St Stephen’ College, though affiliated to DU, conducts its own admission process every year. With its high cutoffs being released early on September 15, it has set the tone for the DU admissions, as it had been predominantly doing. It was even expected that St. Stephen College 2020 cut-off will rise this year, by 1-2%.

For merit-based selections, DU will consider Class 12th marks of best four subjects. Delhi University will publish 5 cutoff lists and 1 special category cut off list for admissions to more than 66,263 seats across 64 DU participating colleges.

With delayed admission process and record applications being received, it has created the predicament for a high cutoff, undoubtedly.

DU UG Admission 2020: (Merit-Based) Schedule

As per the latest updates, DU officials claimed first merit list for UG courses will be out on October 12 at du.ac.in. Candidates will be able to apply for admission based on the first list until October 14 while the payment deadline is October 16, 2020.

DU UG Entrance-Based Admission 2020 Schedule

DU UG admission 2020 based on entrance-based (first and second) merit list will be on October 19 and 26 respectively. DU will release the third merit list on November 2. Fee payment deadline against the first, second and third merit lists are October 23, 30 and November 6, respectively.

DU PG Merit/Entrance Based Admission 2020 Schedule

DU PG first, second and third merit list will be declared on October 26, November 2 and 9. The last date to remit the payment against all the sets of merit lists (first, second and third) for DU PG Admission 2020 is October 30, November 6 and 13.
