DU First Cutoff 2020 List has been released online for all the affiliated colleges on October 10, 2020. This year the cutoff set by St. Stephen’s College witnessed the biggest jump with most of the courses minimum cutoff above 99%. Whereas the cutoff for many courses in Ramanujan College slashed by 1-2% this year. Among the popular choices of DU, Kirori Mal College has also increased its cutoff by 0.25 to 1 point for several courses. Check the college wise first cutoff list.

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has proven to be the most sought option by the students. But the cut off has achieved another high with 99% for Economics and 99.5 for Commerce Streams.

Meanwhile, DU affiliated colleges as of St.Stephen’s College has released the cutoffs on September 15, prior to DU released the dates. However, unlike previous years, this year, Jesus and Mary College will follow the usual schedule for admission as stated by DU.
As known, St Stephen’ College, though affiliated to DU, conducts its own admission process every year. With its high cutoffs being released early on September 15, it has set the tone for the DU admissions, as it had been predominantly doing. It was even expected that St. Stephen College 2020 cut-off will rise this year, by 1-2%.
For merit-based selections, DU will consider Class 12th marks of best four subjects. Delhi University will publish 5 cutoff lists and 1 special category cut off list for admissions to more than 66,263 seats across 64 DU participating colleges.
With delayed admission process and record applications being received, it has created the predicament for a high cutoff, undoubtedly.
DU UG Admission 2020: (Merit-Based) Schedule
As per the latest updates, DU officials claimed first merit list for UG courses will be out on October 12 at du.ac.in. Candidates will be able to apply for admission based on the first list until October 14 while the payment deadline is October 16, 2020.
DU UG Entrance-Based Admission 2020 Schedule
DU UG admission 2020 based on entrance-based (first and second) merit list will be on October 19 and 26 respectively. DU will release the third merit list on November 2. Fee payment deadline against the first, second and third merit lists are October 23, 30 and November 6, respectively.
DU PG Merit/Entrance Based Admission 2020 Schedule
DU PG first, second and third merit list will be declared on October 26, November 2 and 9. The last date to remit the payment against all the sets of merit lists (first, second and third) for DU PG Admission 2020 is October 30, November 6 and 13.
