New Delhi: CITD Hyderabad is currently accepting applications for its M.E programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal,https://www.citdindia.org/.

CITD Hyderabad offers an M.E programme in four different specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till May 22, 2022. 

CITD Hyderabad M.E Admission 2022: Highlights 

M.E programme of CITD includes specialization in CAD, Tool Design, Design for Manufacture and Mechatronics. The duration of the course is for 2 years. These engineering programmes of CITD prepare students to pursue their interests and build abilities in specialised areas.

Admission to CITD M.E programme is based on the rank obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by CITD. Rank holders of GATE also need to qualify themselves in the entrance examination. 

CITD Hyderabad M.E Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• M.E (Mech – CAD/CAM): B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. 55%in the qualifying exam from the institutions approved by AICTE. 
• M.E (Tool Design): B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering or equivalent. 55% in the qualifying exam from the institutions approved by AICTE. 
• M.E (Design for Manufacture): B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering /Production Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent. 
• M.E (Mechatronics): Mechanical/ECE/EEE/EIE/Mechatronics /Automobile /Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent. 55% in the qualifying exam from the institution approved by AICTE. 
• Industry-Sponsored Candidates:
  • 2 years of full-time professional work experience after passing the qualifying exam in a Registered Firm/ Company/ Industry/ Educational and Research institution/ Govt. Department/ Govt. Autonomous organizations in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. 
  • There is no age restriction. However, preference is given to those who are below 45 years. 
  • A letter from the employer must be submitted sponsoring the candidate. The employer should also indicate that the candidate sponsored will not be withdrawn midway till the completion of the course.

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the CITD Hyderabad entrance exam.
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the group discussion or personal interview rounds.
