CDAC Thiruvananthapuram M.Tech Admission 2021 has begun for two specialisations, namely VLSI & Embedded Systems, and Cyber Forensics & Information Security. Interested candidates need to apply by September 30, 2021.

ER & DCI Institute of Technology, the Academic Wing of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Thiruvananthapuram has announced admission for 2021-22 academic year. A total of 18 seats in each programme has been notified for students and working professionals among which two seats are sponsored. CDAC at the ER & DCI Institute of Technology is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala.

Interested students should meet the requisite eligibility criteria in order to apply for the MTech programmes. 

• Candidate should be an Indian citizen 
• Candidate should be a graduate in engineering with an aggregate of 60% marks in the last qualifying exam from a recognized institution approved by AICTE 
• Candidate should have passed AMI/AMIETE exams with 55% for section B
• Candidate should have a valid GATE score 

CDAC Thiruvananthapuram M.Tech Admission 2021: Selection Process 

ER & DCI Institute of Technology will offer CDAC Thiruvananthapuram M.Tech Admission 2021 in VLSI & Embedded Systems and Cyber Forensics & Information Security based on the GATE scores and marks obtained in the last qualified examination. 

If any two students have the same GATE score, they will be allocated with the seat based on the marks obtained in the engineering exam and if any seats in the MTech programmes is vacant due to the lack of students with valid GATE score, then the respective seat will be allocated to the students who do not have a valid GATE, based on their scores in the engineering exam till sixth semester.

• M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems 

The MTech in VLSI & Embedded Systems mainly focuses on the ASIC/FPGA front end design and verification, physical design and verification, embedded OS and RTOS, embedded system design and development, analog and digital circuit design etc. Students will also get a chance to work with the latest electronic design automation tools as a part of the course. 

• M.Tech in Cyber Forensics & Information Security 

This MTech course in Cyber Forensics and Information security is technical and practical in nature, which is uniquely embedded in industry, and develops in-depth expertise of core technical topics within the area of cyber security and digital forensics such as information security, secure programming, network security, penetration testing, malware analysis, IT law, etc. 

Moreover, the course has been designed to give students the necessary knowledge and tools to fill the need for educated cyber security and cyber forensics practitioners, investigators and engineers.

Interested students who meet the eligibility requirements can download the application form from the ER & DCI Institute of Technology website and fill all the necessary details as prescribed and submit the application on or before September 30, 2021.
