New Delhi: CBSE has released the sample question papers and marking scheme for the term II board examinations for classes 10 and 12. The sample papers can be downloaded from the board's official website, cbseacademic.nic.in.

The Term II exam for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12th will be held in the month of March-April. The exams are to be scheduled for a duration of 2 hrs.

CBSE had earlier announced its plan to conduct the Board exams in two terms, under which the Term I Board exam was held in MCQ format in offline mode. The results of the term I board examinations are scheduled to be released soon. Students are advised to keep a track of Term I Class 10 and Class 12th result..

The scheduled CBSE Term II Board Exam will be a non MCQ exam which will consist of short, medium and long answer-type questions. 

However, considering the current scenario of Covid-19, the term II exam may also be held in MCQ format for a duration of 90 minutes

CBSE Term II Class 10 and Class 12 Sample Paper: How to Download

  • Go to cbseacademic.nic.in, the CBSE Academic's official website.
  • Click the link that says CBSE Term 2 sample question paper on the home page.
  • In a new tab, a new PDF file will appear, from which CBSE students can get links to Term II sample papers for both Class 10 and Class 12.
  • To open a new page, click the link.
  • CBSE students can then select the topic for which they want to obtain a sample paper by clicking on the subject name.
  • Students can download the CBSE Term II 2022 sample paper once it has opened.
  • CBSE students can print out the example paper and have it on hand in case they need it in the future.

CBSE Term I, II New Paper Pattern

The board examinations are being held in two terms for the first time by CBSE. In Term I, case-based MCQs and MCQs on assertion-reasoning type questions were included in the question papers. The CBSE Term I Exams were 1.5 hours long and covered 50 percent of the rationalized syllabus.

The paper design for CBSE Term II differs from that of Term I. Case-based, situation-based, open-ended short answer, and long response questions will be included in the CBSE term 2 exams question paper. 

The Term II tests, which are expected to take place in March and April, will last two hours. The CBSE, on the other hand, has made no formal declaration about the Term II exam schedule for both Class 10 and Class 12.
