New Delhi: BITS Pilani is launching BITS Law School in Greater Mumbai. The law school will provide BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB, two integrated five-year degree programmes (Hons). The first academic year will start on August 1, 2023, and admissions will open in March 2024.
More than 1,70,000 BITS Pilani alumni network, which spans 55 countries and includes business founders, thinking leaders, and industry leaders will be accessible and useful to the law students. A specialized office will make it easier for students to get ready for, be exposed to, and have access towards the top law firms, corporations, banks, NGOs, and research institutions.
BITS Law School is creating a cutting-edge, entirely residential campus on 63 acres in the greater Bombay area. BITS Law School has begun operations and will start its first academic year from August 2023 out of a state-of-the-art interim campus at the Hiranandani Gardens in Powai, Mumbai. In the year 2024, the campus will be permanent and have no carbon imprint.
To all the deserving candidates, the law school will provide scholarships in order to promote access and maintain diversity. The school offers specializations in corporate and financial law, entertainment and sports law, technology and media law, and mediation and alternative conflict resolution.
