Ashoka University announced to commence the admission process for the eleventh batch of their flagship programme ‘Young India Fellowship’ (YIF) from November 3, 2020.
The application will remain open for the fellowship program offered at Ashoka University from November 3, 2020, to January 7, 2021, for the first round.
The second round of application begins from January 8, 2021, and will remain open until April 12, 2021.
The outstanding young individuals are trained by the fellowship program to become effective and socially conscious leaders.
The one year fully residential multidisciplinary postgraduate diploma in liberal studies helps candidates to become change makers of the 21st century.
Within the period of one year, candidates will be exposed to multiple academic and professional avenues.

Ashoka University Fellowship Program: Admission Process

- Candidates who are all interested should apply online through the official website of the University.
- After successful completion of the online application, the university will prepare a list of shortlisted candidates.
- The shortlisted candidates should appear for a written test and personal interview
- Shortlisted candidates also get an opportunity to apply for financial aid.
Relaxations will be provided on documents during the time of application.

Ashoka University Fellowship Program: Eligibility Criteria
The following section gives the eligibility criteria for the fellowship program offered at Ashoka University.
- Candidates must have graduated in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Candidates who are in the final year while applying are also eligible to apply
- Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age on August 1, 2020.
- Candidates with work experience or postgraduate degree can also apply
- Candidates with any academic background or discipline could apply.
Ashoka University Fellowship Program: Fees and Financial Aid
The previous year's academic fee is maintained for the Young India Fellowship 2021-22 program which is INR 9.45 Lakh including tuition fees and residence.
A need-based financial aid program for selected candidates is provided at Ashoka University.
This program is aimed to bridge the gap between the cost of the program and the ability of candidates to pay.
The need-based financial aid is offered in form of fee waivers where relaxation will be provided from 25% of tuition fee up to 100% of the entire fee including residence and meals.
