Andhra State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) will be conducting the retest for AP ICET 2020 on October 7. Candidates who were tested COVID-19 positive and couldn't appear for the exam can now reappear for the retest.
AP ICET 2020 will be conducted as per norms in the revised SOP issued by the Health Ministry. Candidates should make a note that only those who were not allowed to appear for AP ICET 2020 conducted on September 10 & 11 due to being tested positive, will be eligible for the retest.
Earlier the candidates who were found COVID-19 positive were also allowed to appear for the test in a separate examination room. However, the revised guidelines clearly mention that no such facility will be provided now forth. Moreover, the candidates showing any of the COVID-19 symptoms should be directed to the nearest health centres.
The AP ICET Result 2020 for the exam conducted on September 10 and 11 was announced on September 26. AP Education Minister Adimulapu said, "Nearly 40,000 students passed and the pass percentage is 78%, girls did better than boys." He also informed that six students were tested COVID-19 and couldn't take the exam.

AP ICET 2020 Counselling
Since AP ICET 2020 Result is announced, the next step is the AP ICET Counselling 2020 expected to commence in October. The Counselling will be based on AP ICET 2020 Cutoff. The cutoff will vary among all the participating B-schools and will be different for different categories.
As per the AP ICET 2020 Counselling, all the shortlisted candidates will first have to report to the help centres for document verification. Based on the preferences entered by the candidates and merit list release and seats available, students will be allotted seats in the colleges. Thereafter the candidates who get seat, will have to pay the requisite fee and report to the college allotted to them.

AP ICET 2020 Seat Allotment Procedure
Below is the Process of participating in the subsequent phases of AP ICET 2020 Counselling –
- If candidates have not participated in previous phases of counselling, then they can participate as a fresh candidate by attending certificate/document verification.
- If no seat is allotted in the previous counselling process, candidates can participate in the next phase.
- If a seat is allotted and candidates have not accepted it then the allotted seat will be cancelled and will be treated as a vacancy to be filled later.
- If a candidate has paid the fee, accepted the joining and reported at the allotted college, they can still participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling. However, If a seat is allotted as per the new option made by the candidate, then the first allotment will be cancelled and a new option college will be allotted.
