Allahabad University has officially cancelled the even semester exams 2021, following which the university announced to evaluate students based on marks obtained in the internals. 

Allahabad University tweeted regarding cancellation of semester exam 2021. The university stated that the semester exams will not be conducted offline and students will be promoted based on marks secured in the internals. 

The examination committee of the university held a meeting where it was decided that the offline exams of the even semesters (2,4,6,8) have been cancelled and the students will be promoted based on their internal assessment marks, the university tweeted. 

Further, it was mentioned that the students will be promoted based on the new criteria, and the classes will also commence in a hybrid mode post the Diwali festival through offline and online mode. However, the university has declared that the offline classes will commence from December 17, 2021.

It should be noted that since the semester exams have been cancelled, the university will conduct the annual exams through the offline mode.

The tweet also stated that the university will start the offline classes from December 17, 2021, by following all the necessary covid-19 protocols. Further, the annual exams will be held after the second week of March 2022.
