Radboud University invites admission applications by April 1 for non-EEA students and May 1 for EEA students. Application deadlines may vary for some master’s degrees.
- Applicants are required to initially apply with Studielink subsequently followed by Osiris application.
- International applicants must submit Certified English Translations of the transcripts, if required.
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline for registering for a bachelor's program has been extended to June 1, 2023, and is accepting iBT TOEFL Home Edition scores as proof of English Language Proficiency.
- Applicants not meeting the eligibility criteria are offered admission on a conditional basis if they showcase their ability to succeed academically.

English/Dutch language Proficiency Test Scores
To meet the admission requirements of certain programs one must have a certain level of English proficiency. Proficiency can be proved via certain diplomas or by successfully completing an English language test.
You can prove your language proficiency by obtaining one of the following diplomas:
- A Dutch VWO diploma
- An International Baccalaureate Diploma
- European Baccalaureate Diploma with English language 2 or English language 1.
- An American High school diploma
- GCE A-Levels
- A diploma equivalent to or higher than the Dutch VWO diploma.
The scores required differ for programs, applicants must check before applying to a particular program.
For Dutch-taught programs, applicants need to demonstrate proficiency in the Dutch language by submitting scores of either of the tests mentioned below:
- Staatsexamen NT2 Programma II
- Het Profiel Professionele Taalvaardigheid (PPT), het Profiel Taalvaardigheid Hoger Onderwijs (PTHO) of het Profiel Academische Taalvaardigheid (PAT)
Visa process for International Students
International applicants need to apply for a student visa to study in the Netherlands upon acceptance to a program. You need to submit the following documents while applying for your residence permit:
- A copy of your valid passport
- September Intake: valid until May 1, the next year
- February Intake: valid until October 1, next year.
- The (un) conditional admission letter.
- Bachelor and pre Master's/Master’s students need the official conditional or unconditional offer letter or email from the university
- Declaration of criminal record.
- Declares that you do not have any criminal records.
- Declaration of intent to undergo a tuberculosis(TB) test.
- By signing this form you are agreeing that you will undergo a TB test after your arrival in the Netherlands.
- Proof of financial stability.
- You will need 900 Euros per month

Applicants will receive admission decisions approximately three weeks after submitting the complete application in the online system Osiris Application. One can upload documents and submit a complete application up to 56 days after registration. After this period, if you have not submitted your application, it will be canceled.
