    UPCET Application Form 2022: Check Form Correction, Exam Dates, Process, Fees

    UPCET 2022 Application Form is expected to release in the 1st week of April 2022. Candidates can fill UPCET 2022 Application Form on the official website, the process involved registration, filling the application, uploading photographs and signatures, payment of application fees, and taking a printout of the confirmation page. Before filling out the application form, the candidates were advised to check UPCET 2022 Eligibility Criteriaas only eligible candidates are allowed admissions.

    • UPCET 2021 application fee is INR 1300 for General/ EWS/ OBC categories and INR 650 for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female candidates and can be paid in online mode using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or wallets.
    • In case of any discrepancy, candidates can make corrections in their application form through UPCET 2022 Form Correction window.

    UPCET 2022 Application Form: Documents Required 

    Candidates must keep the following documents handy before filling UPCET 2022 Application Form:

    • An active Mobile Number
    • A valid Email Address,
    • Candidate’s passport size photograph.
    • Scanned image of the candidate’s full signature
    • Qualifying Examination (Class 12/ graduation) details

    How to Fill UPCET Application Form 2022?

    UPCET Application Form 2022 can be filled on the official website – upcet.nta.nic.in. Candidates have to follow four steps – online registration, filling up the form, uploading a photo and signature, and fee payment. Candidates are advised to read the official UPCET 2021 Notification before beginning the application process. 

    Step 1: UPCET Registration 2022

    • Visit the official website – upcet.nta.nic.in.
    • Click on the link for UG/ PG based on your course.

    • Read the instructions mentioned and select the declaration to proceed.
    • You will be redirected to a new page. Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, email Id and create your password.
    • An application number will be sent to you by SMS and mail.

    Step 2: Fill UPCET Application Form 2022

    • Log in again using your UPCET application number and password.
    • Fill in your parent’s name, gender, Aadhar Card Number, category, and other required details.
    • Provide your qualification details such as the name of the board and year of passing along with the percentage of marks.
    • Enter your address, locality, City, State, District with pin code.
    • Select the courses you want to apply for and the exam center of your preference.
    • Fill the form very carefully to avoid any mistakes as the same details will be printed on UPCET 2022 Admit Card.

    Step 3: Upload the Required Documents

    Candidates have to upload their scanned images of passport size photograph, signature, disability certificate (as applicable) in the prescribed specifications:

    Step 4: Pay UPCET Application Fee 2022

    Candidates have to pay UPCET registration fees in online mode only through debit card/ credit card/ net banking and wallets. The registration fees for various categories is different:

    UPCET Form Correction

    UPCET Application Form Correction 2022

    UPCET Application Form Correction window will be open for a brief period of time. Candidates will be able to log in to the official website with their application number and password to edit their UPCET 2022 form. However, students must note that details such as the name of candidate, gender, contact/address details, category, education qualification details, DOB, etc. will be considered final and these details CANNOT BE CHANGED during Form Correction. 

    The form correction involves subsequent steps and details:

    • Form correction can be made in fields like father’s name, mother’s name, applicant’s name, date of birth.
    • Candidates who have completed all the steps of form filling are eligible for the correction procedure.
    • There are no additional charges incurred for the correction. On the contrary, the exam fee may vary if there is a correction in the caste category and gender.

    Note:The candidates should download the soft copy of the corrected application form for future reference.

    Retreive UPCET Application Number

    How to Retrieve UPCET Application Number and Password?

    It is advisable for candidates to keep the application number and password with utmost care. Despite this, if a candidate forgets these two details, then they can be retrieved by the following steps:

    Retrieving UPCET Application Number

    • Go to the official website – upcet.nta.nic.in
    • Click on the ‘Forgot Application Number’ tab
    • Enter details such as the name of the candidate, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, and security pin.
    • Click on the “Get application Number” tab.
    • The application number will be displayed on your computer screen and it will also be sent to your registered email-id.
    • Note it down or take a printout of it.

    Retrieving UPCET Password

    • Visit the official website i.e. upcet.nta.nic.in.
    • Go to the reset password option.
    • Answer the security questions selected at the time of filling the application form.
    • A verification code or a verification link will be sent to a registered mobile number or email-id respectively in order to reset the password.
    UPCET B.Tech Registration

    UPSEE Application Form 2021 for B. Tech

    From the academic year 2021-22, first-year B.Tech admission through UPSEE has been scrapped. Students will instead be admitted based on their JEE Main scores. Interested candidates can fill their JEE Main 2021 Application Form online for B.Tech admission. However, if any seats in courses such as B.Tech Biotechnology/ Agricultural Engineering offered by AKTU Lucknow are left vacant after JEE Main Counselling, they would be filled on the basis of UPCET 2021 scores.

However, it may be noted that the application fee for female candidates applying for UPCEt under the reserved category quota (including OBC) is Rs. 650.

    Ans. No, the correction window will open in online mode. UPCET 2022 form corrections will be not be entertained through any offline mode.

    Ans. UPCET was formally known as UPCET. In 2021, National Testing Agency (NTA) renamed UPSEE to UPCET. If you are appearing in UPCET 2022, you can find the application form on UPCET. Go through the eligibility criteria before filling up the form thoroughly and make sure you are fulfilling the eligibility.  Read more

    Ans. The last date of application for UPCET 2022 through CUET, for undergraduate courses, was May 2022. CUET 2022 examination for UG courses is scheduled for the first week of July 2022. The counseling will start around the 3rd week of July. For CUET PG, the registration has been extended till 4th July 2022. Read more

    Ans. UPCET, formally UPSEE is the entrance for students seeking admission to various professional courses in UG and PG by A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).
