    TISSNET 2023 Cut off would be released along with the results, around 2nd Week of March 2023 (tentatively). The cutoff list would be released separately as well as the cutoffs would be mentioned on the candidates TISSNET Scorecard 2023. 

    • Candidates are selected for the programs offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences based on their performance in the TISSNET exam, where cutoffs are taken into consideration.
    • Many factors like the number of candidates attending the exam, previous cutoff trends, candidates performance and more will affect the TISNNET 2023 Cutoffs
    • TISSNET 2021 cut-off  Cut off for the general category candidates is the highest at 73.83 marks.

    Types of TISSNET Cutoffs

    Types of TISSNET Cutoff

    There are three types of cutoffs in TISSNET. They are as follows:

    • TISSNET Qualifying Cutoff: TISS has prescribed minimum qualifying marks for the computer-based test. The qualifying cutoff for SC and ST categories is 35% while for other categories, it is 45%. Only securing the qualifying cutoff does not guarantee a seat for TISS Course/ program. The admission will be solely based on the merit list.
    • TISSNET Cutoff for PIT & PI selection: The coordinating body i.e. TISS decides the cutoff score for shortlisting candidates for PIT and PI. The authority prepares the merit list based on the cutoff scores. Only the shortlisted candidates receive call letters for the second round of selection.
    • TISSNET Cutoff for Admission: The final admission is offered based on performance in TISSNET, PIT and PI together. The weightage assigned to these factors has been prescribed by the examination authority. The weightage of the written exam is 50% while 30% each for PIT and PI.
    Note: Candidates must preserve their TISSNET Admit Cards till the time final admission concludes.

    What After Clearing TISSNET Cutoff?

    Candidates who qualify TISSNET Cutoff will be shortlisted for the subsequent selection rounds. The final list of selected candidates has been declared on the official website. TISSNET Selection Procedure will evaluate a candidate in the following stages:

    1. Score in TISSNET
    2. Pre-Interview Test
    3. Personal Assessment

    Candidates who score more than or equal to TISSNET 2023 cutoff marks will be called for a Pre-Interview session and Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in TISSNET 2023, PIT, and Interview in the following weightage:
